Video: The field goal that wasn’t, then was

Reminds me of the final free throw in “Teen Wolf.” Minus the guy standing in the background afterwards exposing himself.
Did Michael J. Fox really pass over the blonde girl at the end of that movie for “Boof”? Dude.

Blowback

Def one of the best finishes this season. Felt bad for the guy when he missed against Pittsburgh last week.
In related news, Cleveland’s quarterback Derek Anderson was one of the best fantasy pick ups eva.

If that were to happen with soccer in England there would have been a multiple-casualty riot and the stadium would have been burned down.
AlexB on November 19, 2007 at 2:55 PM
I -still- think you should get a point for hitting the uprights. 1 point for hitting it, 3 more points if its still good afterwards.
lorien1973 on November 19, 2007 at 2:58 PM
Holy crap! The announcers were so worthless on that, but what an amazing thing.
Jaibones on November 19, 2007 at 2:59 PM
I hate Brian Billick and Ray Lewis, so any time they lose, any way they lose, is fine by me.
Besides, I had the Browns -2.5.
Doink!
JammieWearingFool on November 19, 2007 at 2:59 PM
Don’t you have to call bank shots for them to be good?
Drew on November 19, 2007 at 3:00 PM
Shoot, you should get more points for hitting the uprights!! It’s a lot harder to hit them than it is to miss them.
jdpaz on November 19, 2007 at 3:09 PM
How many points for hitting the band? Obviously there should be a bonus for actually knocking somebody down–especially if it’s the tuba player. Really I’m in favor of at least a +1 Tuba Bonus under any conditions, and maybe a +5 if the ball actually gets stuck in the tuba.

C’mon, AP, Boof was no slouch! Besides, would you want to hook up with a chick that is so easy, she’s willing to do a werewolf?
revolutionismyname on November 19, 2007 at 3:17 PM
A better finish was taking a knee against OU Saturday night…. :D
bikermailman on November 19, 2007 at 3:18 PM
Don’t ask AP questions that you don’t want to hear the answer to :P

Guns up!

Buffalo hit the goal cam Sunday night too. Pretty cool, but I agree, you have to call your shots. We don’t take slop in the NFL.
Ordinary1 on November 19, 2007 at 3:28 PM
You say that like it’s a bad thing.
Hollowpoint on November 19, 2007 at 3:38 PM
You’re lucky you work with Hotties, otherwize they could be offended.

P.S. I say Hotties with utmost respect.

Now now JammieWearingFool, The Browns continued existence would not be possible if not for Art Modell. Some owners have no problem just packing up and taking everything, including records by individual players. Now all you hear about is how a current franchise player besting this older franchise player’s record without even metioning where that record came from.
So hate all you want…the Browns will be in the tank soon enough.
Afterthought…my 76 year old mother still gets mad about the Dodgers moving out west and it’s never the Yankees….it’s always those Damn Yankees!

Allah, I’m surprised you didn’t accompany this post with a link to that oddity with the baseball bat this past season! Everybody remember that?
radjah shelduck on November 19, 2007 at 4:10 PM
A guy I used to work with passed several up college football scholarships; he regularly kicked 70+ yard successful field goals. Why he didn’t take them is beyond me.
Free Constitution on November 19, 2007 at 4:35 PM
That play shouldn’t have been reviewed. Notice how the ref says after further discussion, instead of review. Still glad Baltimore lost.
sweeper on November 19, 2007 at 4:39 PM
I’m not a Browns fan. Just don’t like the Ravens.
JammieWearingFool on November 19, 2007 at 5:21 PM
But he got a preview of Boof. Remember they were locked in the closet at the party? He found out something about here that we never got to see.
RMCS_USN on November 19, 2007 at 5:36 PM
Worst. Movie. Ever.
I still can’t believe I paid money to see that POS.

I don’t watch hockey, but even I know when the baseball goes thru the hoop, the punt is good.
Told you.

Or if it had happened in Cleveland…..

It was a zebra who swore he saw it go over, and the referee had no choice but to look at the replay. Still, pretty remarkable english on that ball, like a Phil Mickelson 8-iron.
