The Debate Farmers must not have gotten to this Iowa townhall meeting, because someone who is obviously not another Democrat-friendly plant got to ask a tough question of Sen. Barack Obama. He didn’t like it.

While the video itself is interesting, it may not be the most interesting thing about this story. For that, I’ll send you over to Dan Riehl. If he’s right, factor in the dirty trick story that Robert Novak has been talking about and Hillary Clinton is due for another Photoshop:

Me too. From what I see, it goes from her asking about border security to him going off about the World Trade Center and Iraq. A pretty big disconnect there because he doesn’t seem to be addressing her questions. Especially not with any “specificity” as requested.

Really? So if you ask a question about terrorism and border security, then a non sequitur about Saddam not having brought down the World Trade center is talking as equals? Heck, how is that even an answer related to the question?
How would Saddam’s involvement or non-involvement with 9/11 have anything to do with border security?
“This is a part of the world I’ve studied deeply” really is an implication that you haven’t and is a simple appeal to authority. There was no information there, except an claim that he’s studied more than you, therefore he’s right.
By “equal” do you mean he also thinks he isn’t smart enough to see an obvious avoidance of the question, he also doesn’t think he’s smart enough to realize the border security question was never answered, or that he also isn’t clever enough to see through a simple logical fallacy?
Somehow I suspect he doesn’t think any of these three things about himself, but he obviously does think them about the people listening to him speak. I’m going to have to go with that not being something you’d try with an equal.
Unless of course you think your equals are stupid.

A: George Bush is wrong, and “HOW DARE YOU INSULT MY PATRIOTISM!”
This is the exact same answer that ALL Democrat candidates give to the question. The problem was that Obama said it too bluntly. There should have been about 500 more words in there.
B. Hussein Obama is no more of a moonbat than any other Democrat nominee; he’s just not nearly as good at covering it up the rest. He’s the Democrat Party’s worst nightmare: an honest liberal.

The fact that Obama would automatically link a question about terrorism to OBL and Hussein, instead of seeing any connection between illegal immigration and terrorism that the question was about, is typical of liberal thinking. Because they see everything from their own viewpoint, nobody else’s viewpoint has merit unless that viewpoint re-enforces their own.
Liberals are also totally incapable of connecting something they support with something they don’t. Liberals believe in multiculturalism, diversity, and the all-ideas-are-equal philosophy. They are pro-immigration, period. They don’t care if it’s legal or not. And since they are for immigration, in their minds there can be no connection between immigration and terrorism. So, of course, Obama’s first thought when asked about terrorism was OBL, because he wasn’t an immigrant. Not sure why he mentioned Hussein other than to get a dig in about the Iraq war and the Bush administration.
I’d like to see a transcript of the whole exchange. You can make out her first question clearly, but everything she said after that is not audible on the video. I didn’t think she came across as rude, but liberals tend to think anyone who disagrees with them is spewing “hate”, so I’d love to know what she said to him after that first question.
