For about the past decade, we have all witnessed mounting racial double-standards. Often, white men are on the losing end – cast as close-minded bigots no matter what. That is wrong.

But if you listen to your average Republican talk about this issue, you would think they had been marginalized for centuries. This is a new dynamic, very new.

Newsflash: There is still no comparison between the racism endured by many blacks to the “oppression” endured by white men at the hands of the MSM and liberals.

It’s interesting to see so many exert so much energy against prejudice when it’s directed at them. Along with this defense against false charges of racism comes a blind spot. The right is dangerously close to a total backlash against acknowledging any racism which is not politically beneficial.

It’s just ironic. Some of those who staunchly oppose victimhood seem quite comfortable exercising their own.

According to table 4, the breakdown of the anti-Islamic incidents is as follows: 54 were assault, 79 were intimidation, 6 robbery/burglary, 51 vandalism, and 1 “other”. Anti-Jewish: 80 assaults, 244 intimidation, 21 robbery/ burglary/ larceny-theft, 8 arson, 672 vandalism, 2 “other”.

Table 5 lists the offenders’ races according to the bias motivation. You won’t see an “Hispanic” category, though, because they’re usually listed as “White” when reporting on offenders.

I’m not sure it’s all that important. Ibrahim Hooper’s sniveling could make you want to travel to give him a beat-down, irrelevant of his being a Muslim.

About 8 or 9 times more hate crimes against Jews than Muslims, and yet not even Abe Forman is screaming about an imminent pogrom in America, unlike CAIR and Christiana Amanapour…….

I’m really curious if there are any Hot Air readers who consider themselves to be racist. Is racist behavior a non-starter among your friends? If you are racist do you feel it is justified or is it something you battle?

I’m not racist and consider it a moral failing.
I have friends whom I would consider racist, but racist behavior is not acceptable in my presence. I’ve stuck my neck out many times against individual bigots. I equally vocal in my personal life against race-baiting.

And Jailbones, you might be interested in knowing that many of the hate crimes alleged to have been perpetrated against blacks aren’t necessarily perpetrated by whites. I suspect that particular bit of knowledge might tone down your long-demonstrated belief that all of us (blacks) hate all of you (whites) and that we’re all lying when we say that someone has committed an anti-black “hate” crime.

If you live in a Blue state you are more likely to be the victim of a hate crime.

Actually, it’s even stranger than that. Here’s the definition of “known offender:”

2 The term known offender does not imply that the identity of the suspect is known, but only that an attribute of the suspect has been identified, which distinguishes him/her from an unknown offender.

I’m not sure what that means. Does it mean that crimes against Muslims are more face-to-face, so that they can identify at least one characteristic, while the crimes against Jews are more “anonymous?”
