Allah, why do you torture us so?

astuddis on November 17, 2007 at 2:31 PM

Is it just me, or does that remind anybody else of Hillary getting attacked by the American flags?

ReubenJCogburn on November 17, 2007 at 2:35 PM

Ha, I saw this when I went over to her site to email her the link to that Structure Mag article you posted yesterday. And I know what you’re asking yourselves, and the answer is yes.. I did call Rosie a filthy animal in my email to her.

RightWinged on November 17, 2007 at 2:35 PM

Rove you magnificent bastard.

Cry havoc and let slip the Eagles of war !

William Amos on November 17, 2007 at 2:36 PM

I think it is a metaphor of America showing Rosie exactly what we think of her.

I didn’t know Ro-Ro was religious.
Romans 10:13: for, “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”

Mojack420 on November 17, 2007 at 2:47 PM

i heard that on last season’s nip/tuck she had a sex scene. i asked for that season for christmas and i am filled with dread.

its vintage duh on November 17, 2007 at 2:48 PM

Will Ashcroft’s “Let the Eagles Soar” be playing in the background?

As a side note, they lost me as a viewer..It is just too odd even for my taste..But I do have my own exit question if you don’t mind….

Rosie was all over Washington when he called his coworker a fag…Why is she on a show, that just 2 weeks ago referred to a lesbian as a carpet muncher, and continues to belittle lesbians…

Pam on November 17, 2007 at 2:57 PM

its vintage duh on November 17, 2007 at 2:48 PM

What a waste of a beautiful man….As a woman..I had performance problems after that scene…

Bald Eagles eat fish.

Rosie smells like fish.

He’s just following his instincts. And have an upset tummy later.

Hillary’s flag mishap was an inside job!!!!1!11

Bad Candy on November 17, 2007 at 3:17 PM

I love irony.

The irony of the symbolism behind a bald eagle attacking Rosie O’Donnell.

Fabulous!

Weebork on November 17, 2007 at 3:17 PM

What the hell was that? Was that real? She didn’t even have her hands up to defend herself.
Would someone expain what I just saw? Absolutely bizarre.

redshirt on November 17, 2007 at 3:24 PM

lol @ weebork
i never watched this show anyway, may have to watch just for this scene :)

trailortrash on November 17, 2007 at 3:25 PM

Eagles UP!

ttevolla on November 17, 2007 at 3:25 PM

Why did I see her actually teasing the eagle with her sideways motions… or was that just a clip being repeated? either way…. her mere presence
is antagonistic enough.

MNDavenotPC on November 17, 2007 at 3:34 PM

Now only if the eagle took a big dump it would be perfect.

RobCon on November 17, 2007 at 3:35 PM

What a contrast. Beautiful bird and ugly pig.

RobCon on November 17, 2007 at 3:37 PM

A bald eagle attacking twoofer ro. There is a God.

thejackal on November 17, 2007 at 4:05 PM

“Eagles were very much freaked out during the filming of this episode”

Animals are here to be mistreated by wealthy Liberals, but heaven help the rest of us.

redshirt on November 17, 2007 at 3:24 PM

Didn’t look real to me either.

infidel4life on November 17, 2007 at 4:09 PM

Real or staged, she is taunting that magnificent animal.
Reminds me of the Pali video of the bee throwing rocks at those lions in the zoo. You remember, to teach kids to respect animals.
She loves eagles, so she mocks them.
Kinda how she feels about America…

redshirt on November 17, 2007 at 4:31 PM

CRUELTY TO ANIMALS.

WHAT WERE THEY DOING THIS FOR ANYWAY?

WHERE’S PETA?

AmericanDad on November 17, 2007 at 4:38 PM

In Hitchcock’s The Birds, the reason for the attacks was never explained but, certainly, the Bald Eagle is America in Rosie’s imagined attack.

T J Green on November 17, 2007 at 4:49 PM

The eagle is clearly a stage prop. If an Eagle really were pecking her face, she wouldn’t be alive to post the video on her blog. Nevermind how it stays airborne without flapping its wings.

And God, that screaming makes you wish the bald eagle was real and hushing her up.

BKennedy on November 17, 2007 at 4:54 PM

The shape of Rosies’ skull confused the eagle into thinking it’d make a perfect nest.

Coronagold on November 17, 2007 at 5:01 PM

Does Rosie wear that red helmet all the time or is that a safeguard when visiting eagles?

Dusty on November 17, 2007 at 5:04 PM

redshirt on November 17, 2007 at 4:31 PM

it’s fake. shes doing a guest spot on “Nip/Tuck”. on the previews for tuesdays episode it shows her with a messed up face, and dr. troy says that theyll have to “sew her lips shut” and she kinda groans. if only we could sew her lips shut in real life…

its vintage duh on November 17, 2007 at 5:15 PM

I hope it didn’t make the eagle sick.

mimi1220 on November 17, 2007 at 5:23 PM

American eagle to Rosie “F u; I don’t negoti8″.

its vintage duh on November 17, 2007 at 5:15 PM

Once again Hollyweird proves it has no understanding of reality.

If a bald eagle really pecked your face like that, you wouldn’t need your lips sewn shut, you’d need them sewn back on, along with the rest of your face, assuming you didn’t die from the attack.

BKennedy on November 17, 2007 at 6:25 PM

Go EAGLE go!

Malpaso on November 17, 2007 at 6:27 PM

It kinda looked to me like the Eagle was being forced into position… and forced to attack…

It was trying to pull its head back…

Cause even that bird is smart enough to know that Rosie leaves a really bad taste in your mouth… errr… beak..

Romeo13 on November 17, 2007 at 6:42 PM

I thougth that last picture of her face torn up was an improvement on what we usually see.

boomer on November 17, 2007 at 8:02 PM

As much as I loathe what this woman has said and done, I am not pleased to see this, and wish her no illness or physical injury.

Now, if it was OBL, then, by all means Mr. Eagle, have at it, go nuts. Um, do bald eagles eat carrion?

shaken on November 17, 2007 at 8:26 PM

I am hoping this eagle is a decendant of one of those good Cape Breton eagles we gave the US last deacade to help boost the population.

Jim708 on November 17, 2007 at 8:29 PM

The Bald Eagle has a vocabulary of but one word: “BITCH!”

thejackal on November 17, 2007 at 8:39 PM

Not sure what we’re seeing: Is Rosie being shot out of a cannon into the bird?

landlines on November 17, 2007 at 9:04 PM

I’m dissapointed…for a sec, I thought it was real.

Of course, it would be nice if one of those surgeons would nip and tuck her mouth shut…to reduce harmul emissions and all.

JetBoy on November 17, 2007 at 9:21 PM

Rosie being mean to a symbol of America. Figures.

SoulGlo on November 17, 2007 at 9:23 PM

She is obviously engaged in an outdoor activity of sorts (sky diving, Mtn biking etc) and this eagle has attacked her. BTW, the eagle is a stage prop.

Speaking of stage props, Rosie is a stage prop for the troofers.

csdeven on November 17, 2007 at 9:41 PM

Right-WINGED conspiracy!

ReubenJCogburn on November 17, 2007 at 2:35 PM

Or Fabio being hit in the face by a goose on an amusement park ride. (Letterman did a brilliant Top Ten list on this after it happened. Anyone who can find it, please post it, I beg of you.)

Captain Scarlet on November 17, 2007 at 11:18 PM

Captain Scarlet, you’re welcome :)

Entelechy on November 18, 2007 at 12:51 AM

Is it just me, or did the after picture look like the eagle gave Ro Herpes?

Dr. Phat Tony on November 18, 2007 at 12:51 AM

Or dark metaphor for America’s war on Truth?

No dark metaphor here, even our national symbol the eagle knows the enemy when it sees it, so what does that say about Tokyo-Rosie? Well lets just say the eagle is smarter than she is…what a shocka!!

Liberty or Death on November 18, 2007 at 12:58 AM

Captain Scarlet, you’re welcome :)

Entelechy on November 18, 2007 at 12:51 AM

Bless you! I almost choked while eating when I spotted the one that brought me to tears the first time I heard it: “#9 This is an inspiration to the millions of people who have been hit in the face by geese while riding a rollercoaster.”

Captain Scarlet on November 18, 2007 at 4:46 AM

Its vintage duh on November 17, 2007 at 5:15 PM

Agree completely. I’ve seen the previews for that episode.
I’m sure it’s some martyr syndrome a’la Dixie Chicks’”Just Shut Up and Sing” that she’s been silenced. The truth, of course, is that she silenced herself but fails to take responsibility.

eforhan on November 18, 2007 at 8:30 AM

The symbol of our nations freedom with its talons full. Maybe it was exorcising a heart of stone.

Oh? Was the helmet to protect an empty brain or was that the original landing site?

MSGTAS on November 18, 2007 at 8:55 AM

Ho-hum. Another eagle bites beagle story.

“9/11 Truther. America’s Symbol Fights Back against Ignorance.”

Faith1 on November 18, 2007 at 9:26 AM

I really wish everyone would just ignore this ugly, useless, brain-dead, non-productive (and mercifully non-reproductive) life form. Let her fade into the obscurity she deserves.

Texas Nick 77 on November 18, 2007 at 10:29 AM

i hate the screams but i love the penguin flapping.

she could make vomit sick.

i can’t believe anything like this coming out of hollywood unless it’s really double secret irony or some such.

remember her defense of 9/11 mastermind KSM? hard to excuse such things.

still, talent will out.

JazzBass on November 18, 2007 at 10:38 AM

I find myself rooting for the eagle…lol…;-)

It’s kinda like that eagle is speaking on behalf of the rest of the country…symbolically speaking…:-)

Now “the left” can tag me as an “angry right-winger” for something that didn’t even really happen. Isn’t it funny how that works? The left can rejoice when something really bad happens to this country in the real world. Yet, I’m sure anybody who makes fun of the fantasy of Rosie getting the crap kicked out of her by the symbol of our country will probably be tagged as “angry”.

But I digress…

Planet Boulder on November 18, 2007 at 12:04 PM

Rosie attacked by bald eagle.

How appropro.

I wonder if Rosie is smart enough to understand the irony?

Lawrence on November 18, 2007 at 1:02 PM

I am assuming the eagle is NOT live, but it appears it IS a genuine bald eagle, so one wonders exactly how the show went about acquiring a stuffed bald eagle? Legally, that is. I hope nobody shot an eagle to allow Rosie to make a film! Talk about a crime against nature.

drunyan8315 on November 18, 2007 at 1:25 PM

Absolutely bizarre.

…and this a surprise to whom? Why?

oldleprechaun on November 18, 2007 at 2:12 PM

Rosie loses talon contest.

Dr. Charles G. Waugh on November 18, 2007 at 8:26 PM

Uh…”sweet Jesus”????

LOL

You cry out for Jesus after badmouthing Christians?

Yeah, I know it’s her lines for the show. I found it ironic.

Black Adam on November 19, 2007 at 2:17 AM

The “bird” is almost certainly a puppet. The metal rods are controls used to simulate motion. The man with the upper rod is making the head simulate pecking. The man with the rods is holding the body in position by supporting the wings, but is not making the rods flap the the wings. Maybe the cameral angle is such that the wings cannot be seen and so there is no need to have them flap.

Herikutsu on November 19, 2007 at 5:11 AM

Allah, you need to put a warning up when the link sends us to Rosie’s website. Now I have to reformat my hard drive again.

srhoades on November 19, 2007 at 10:41 AM

Symbolic of her persecution complex?

Alas, where’s reality when you need it…

Lex talionis, call Rosie.

profitsbeard on November 19, 2007 at 12:15 PM

My disappointment was that it was fake. Too bad the poor eagle didn’t get a chance to use its claws before they stuffed it.
