Finally: YouTube boots “Jew Watch” cretin

Reader Abe L. e-mails with the good word. Our first post about this turd, urging people to flag him, ran in February; another came in April after YouTube declined to act; then another mention in August, at which point I threw in the towel. The burning question: Was he finally bounced for inappropriate content — or for trying to game YouTube’s system with sockpuppets to boost his audience? Watch this clip someone posted last month. They accuse him of having created dummy accounts which he would use to subscribe to his own videos. I’m not convinced, though. YouTube doesn’t want for scum attracted to what Weltner was pitching; it’s no surprise that he’d turn up regularly in the list of the 100 most viewed news and politics vids.
The language here is rather jalapeno so skip it if you don’t like your rants spicy.

glad you liked it. somnething you realize from wading into the white racialist muck is that the “white power” movement can hardly be said to exist in any serious way, and groups like the splc who are dedicated to “warning” us of their “influence” are fear-mogngering hacks working towards equally pernicious ends.
mark, i agree that the “ron paul is a nazi” stuff has become a facile taunt, but paul sure hasn’t been helped at all by either his supporters or his own reticence.
about a month ago i was feeling rather supportive of what appeared to be a genuine resurgence of libertarian might under paul’s campaign, but now it looks very, very dirty.
this is a crucial moment for the actual libertarians accosiated with paul. the only way to save the gains they’ve made with his campaign is to be open and explicit in disavowing the white nationalist cranks and the illuminatti conspiracist cranks and all the other parasites who havce attatched themselves to his campaign. this circling of the wagons is only going to hurt everyone.

I have only been flagging his hate vids every day from the first warning until a week ago.
Amazes me how fast ewetube will pull anti-illegal immigration vids or other conserative vids, but this Nazi can post uninterupted for nearly a year.

I turned it off after about 15 sec. I couldn’t understand most of what was being said anyway. I am glad however that “jew watch” videos were finally pulled. I believe in free speech but I doubt his rants were protected speech.

The truth, I suspect, is a lot simpler.
Youtube have been under political pressure to do something about extremists. They don’t want to get rid of the jihadists, so they offer up the white guy as a sacrifice – to show the world they care.
Frank Weltner’s dismissal can now be wheeled out every time youtube are (rightly) accused of providing a platform for antisemites.

Why can’t he just disavow their beliefs, as he has publicly spoken against 9/11 “trutherism” and racism? If he’s done that, and they continue to support him, then it must be for some other reason. I don’t dismiss racists and the paranoid altogether. I dismiss their paranoia and their racism. They’re still Americans with the right to vote and the right to support the candidate of their choice.
Furthermore, by directly addressing specific individuals and refunding donations, the Paul campaign could well do more harm than good, by exposing more people to mindless “guilt by association” temptations. His campaign doesn’t “accept” donations in any active sense of the word, and he shouldn’t be expected to refund money to every potentially unsavory character nominated by the Internet hordes.
It’s a stupid red herring, and what it really shows is how utterly unwilling the pro-war right is to address the substance and historical/Constitutional basis of Dr. Paul’s positions. Go and look at the posts and comments on this blog. See how many address his positions and how many are personal attacks, red herrings, or straw man attacks. It’s pathetic.
