Watching Hillary ads is hard. . .
common sensineer on November 15, 2007 at 1:29 PM
Dangit, that’s adorable. Arrghh, her campaign keeps making me smile with these spots. Can’t be good for us.
marykatharine on November 15, 2007 at 1:30 PM
So are those two girls dating? Wow she is serious about that diversity vote. Going after the 17 year old vote too.
The other Dem candidates don’t have a chance.

Kini on November 15, 2007 at 1:35 PM
Your not getting me to fall for watching that car wreck.
abinitioadinfinitum on November 15, 2007 at 1:37 PM
the fact that hillary mocks herself is all part of their plan to neutralize their enemies, it goes together with her recent seducing of drudge, and richard mellon caifes new found love of Bubba.
zane on November 15, 2007 at 1:37 PM
Ug. That was icky. Sophmorish.
4shoes on November 15, 2007 at 1:45 PM
I was thinking the same thing.
AP, you’re killing us with all this Hillary stuff. You sure you don’t have some wild fantasy that you’d like to share with the group? I think you best stick to Julie B., Megan K. or better yet, Martha Mac.
RMCS_USN on November 15, 2007 at 1:46 PM
She’s going to cock us, all right.
benjamin on November 15, 2007 at 1:47 PM
Stupid and po-thetic. It’s funny because the Clenis eats a Big Mac after exercising?
Attila (Pillage Idiot) on November 15, 2007 at 1:48 PM
Yeah, OK, I know the expression is ‘car crash’ or ‘train wreck,’ that video was both combined.
abinitioadinfinitum on November 15, 2007 at 1:49 PM
Funny… but is it a good idea to show Bill Clinton lusting after forbidden fruit at the beginning of the commercial …and getting it at the end?
calbear on November 15, 2007 at 1:50 PM
I wonder which trailer park bimbo photo was positioned off screen and in front of Bill to make him run like that.
The Klintons have hijacked HotAir. Not that there’s anything wrong with that.
Bring ‘em on.
fogw on November 15, 2007 at 1:51 PM
Good one, perfect video to be spoofed.
abinitioadinfinitum on November 15, 2007 at 1:53 PM
The running time of this video is waaaaaay too long to keep the 14 to 34 year-old interested, but its first 30-45 seconds are perfection.
GOP take heed. You’re losing on this front and you don’t have to be.
ScottMcC on November 15, 2007 at 1:58 PM
I hope whatever consultant who is responsible for these is making good money, because they really are smart for a number of reasons. Hopefully the GOP will learn soon.
frankj on November 15, 2007 at 1:59 PM
Isn’t that tantamount to ballot-stuffing?
Except with Idahoans?
Corky on November 15, 2007 at 1:59 PM
Toward the end:
“Being married is hard!”
...uncomfortable silence in Chappaqua…
see-dubya on November 15, 2007 at 2:00 PM
Lol, geez, tough crowd. I thought it was a great ad.
Although I actually have no idea what the purpose of a caucus is. I guess my parents never had that conversation with me growing up. ;)
CorinthianJest on November 15, 2007 at 2:01 PM
doggone, that was good. Double

He eat hamburger, make me laugh. Me vote Hilary now.
Hening on November 15, 2007 at 2:09 PM
Two thoughts:
First, A whole add that essentially tells people to go to their caucus site by 7pm and find the right corner? This seems as easy as voting by pushing a stick through the right hole in a piece of paper!
Secondly, am I the only one that noticed how lilly white that ad was? Granted, Iowa isn’t a hotbed of diversity but the few minorities weren’t in the camera for long!
highhopes on November 15, 2007 at 2:15 PM
After watching Fred’s immigration ad yesterday, I think the GOP needs to start investing in marketing.
sweeper on November 15, 2007 at 2:18 PM
Yep, that’s a great spot, and good strategy for Hillary. Cute, humorous ads like this will distract from her serious gaffes and scandals, and by contrast will paint the Repubs as humorless bores.
I doubt the best response is to imitate the strategy, but it seems like the Repubs can do better than they have.
Splashman on November 15, 2007 at 2:20 PM
Oh, forgot to mention: Obviously, there’s no way a humorous ad will change anyone’s mind, and given the subject matter (caucusing), I figure this ad is aimed primarily at stemming the hemorrhage in the polls (i.e., convince supporters not to bolt).
Splashman on November 15, 2007 at 2:23 PM
Wait. Lemme get this straight. Hillary’s corner is the one with the Hillary posters in it? Thanks, I may have made a terrible mistake.
I guess you could be a step above “brain-dead” to successfully caucaus. (I never knew) Shuffle to the corner with the picture/sign with a name you recognize and sit long enough to be counted. Is that why they don’t have them in more metropolitan areas? A welcome break from cow-tipping?
ej_pez on November 15, 2007 at 2:40 PM
It is well done. I wonder if they did the ‘bridge is hard’ comment after the bridge players did their thing the other day.
Anyway, this is exactly what the internet is for. It gives out information about the candidate and important things for the candidate. You can’t criticize Hillary for this one. It’s well done and even makes fun of herself for being a poor singer.
ThackerAgency on November 15, 2007 at 3:02 PM
That is a pretty big win for them to get Markos to host the commercial. Didn’t know he had officially endorsed Hillary. Trying to shore up support with the gay bloc, I guess.
RW Wacko on November 15, 2007 at 3:06 PM
“The Clenis”?
Does that make Hillary “The Clunt”?
heldmyw on November 15, 2007 at 3:13 PM
I wonder how many time Slick Billy hit on the hot MILF dancing with that dork in the video.
186k on November 15, 2007 at 3:22 PM
I sware Clenis is morphing in to a WC Fields clone.
swami on November 15, 2007 at 3:24 PM
Was the dancing guy Tom Vilsack?
Good ad.
Dudley Smith on November 15, 2007 at 4:04 PM
Talking is hard for Bill these days. Anybody else noticed he seems to have developed a speech impediment?
RushBaby on November 15, 2007 at 4:12 PM
…and the unanswered rape allegations. “Hey, Hill, nice job with that licenses for illegals question… better put some ice on that!”
saint kansas on November 15, 2007 at 5:25 PM
For a hamburger today, I would gladly vote for you on Tuesday.
Kini on November 15, 2007 at 6:56 PM
We are so going to lose next year … I’m going to go put my head under my pillow now and pretend that none of this exists ….

Hitlery becomes speechless when trying to sing the National Anthem and Wild Bill is breathless after woofing down and telling so many Whoopers-maybe he has been putting the toys from his Kids Meals into his mouth again-where is his mother Hiterly when he needs appropriate discipline.
