hell yeah, i was down there during the protets helping the police. i say throw every one of those protesters in prison. only cowards hide behind ‘consitutional rights’. so is there an amendment to the US consitution that says its ok to vandalize property and flip over police cars?

She and Kelly were arguing the merits of some legal point on BOR recently and Lis tried to win her point by saying that the particlar law was just stupid. Megyn told her to see how far she’d get with the judge trying that tactic.

Easiest crime to charge them with is conspiracy.
The simple fact they conspirer to commit a criminal act even a misdemeanor makes the conspiracy charge the felony.

If they profit any way such as donation ect then they would also fall under the federal rico act I believe.

Actually, I am surprised this hasn’t happened sooner. Olympia is filled with moonbat/anarchist youth who hang around grungy neighborhood coffee shops and restaurants all day. Nearby Evergreen State College is a hotbed for these morons. ESC once had Mumia as their graduation speaker, live from prison. Even though it is a state college, it is free form without grades and do-it-yourself cirrcula. Matt Groening is their most famous grad.

This by no means excuses their behaviour, but it is completely consistent with the scum I have seen walking the streets in Olympia.

There are some really cool non-lethal stuff we used in Iraq (grenades filled w/ rubber pellets, paintball guns with weighted paintballs filled w/ OC, huge (small fire extinguisher sized) OC spray bottles, tasers, flashbangs, and the mother of them all… the LRAD. A radar dish that emitted waves of sound that affected the inner ear in such a way that it made everyone in it’s cone dizzy, nauseated and sick. I bet they would think twice before acting like thugs and criminals again…

I agree with Lis Wiehl that harsh punishment won’t really work. Instead, we should give these protesters humiliating punishments, like being forced to clean the bathrooms in a prison every weekend for the next five years. There may not be enough prison bathrooms to go around, but I’m sure we can think of other such punishments.

Who are these people? Their tactics show that they are extremely committed. This indicates that they are capable of doing just about anything to achieve their goals. And what are these goals? What is going on inside their collective head? What’s in their playbook?

I’d guess their #1 goal is to get the MSM to focus on them. They believe this will excite and attract fellow travelers. They are not trying to convert folks to the cause at this point. Most people are blind and cannot see what they see so clearly. They picture themselves on the frontlines of the progressive movement and they are letting progressives know that there are those in the movement willing to do the hard work. Their actions, no matter how daring or outrageous, are for the common cause.

They are capable of great harm to themselves or others based on our sideline view of their playcalling. It is more likely that they want the “powers that be” to inflict harm on their merry little band. This self inflicted wound will play well to their less committed brethren.

Another way to find out what’s inside their playbook would be to get someone on the inside. It’s a good bet that he/she is already there.
