The stereotypical Republican has no desire to even try for that segment’s vote even though males aged 18-34 is consistently rated by large marketing firms as a most-desired demographic.

At the risk of sounding like the csdeven guy, ignoring anyone that’s not a fortysomething white guy or aging “Security Mom” is directly from the lazy Fred Thompson elite Washington lobbyist wing of the Republican party’s playbook.

The instant response to anything from a Democrat posted here is “IT’S [name of Democrat candidate here] AND THEREFORE IT’S UNFUNNY AND SMELLY AND STUPID AND CRASS AND JUVENILE AND DID I ALREADY SAY STUPID, OKAY THEN IT’S DOUBLE-SECRET-PROBATIONARY STUPID!!!”, which is just as unbalanced and nutty as… well, Mike Gravel.

Yeah, I know it’s from a Dem, but this is a clever ad for Gravel as was the past couple of Clinton ads posted here by AP and Bryan. Mary Katherine Ham thinks so too, therefore any knee-jerk “IT SUCKS” is an automatic slight against the intelligence of sweet, loveable, wonderful, smart, and cool Miss MKH.

I also went on a search to disprove your broad assertion that Republicans only want Republicans to vote, by showing you all the opinions of leftists saying the same thing.

Unfortunately, I only found Republicans under a quick search of “too stupid to vote”. Lots of ‘em. All saying that “some people are too stupid to vote. ”

Perfect example of the fundamental difference between Dems and Republicans. Dems want everyone to vote (even the illegal voters) while Republicans only want Republicans to vote.

Allah, I think you’re obsessing on the humor issue too much. As others have noted, we (HotAir readers) aren’t the ones who need convincing. While everyone appreciates humor, when it comes time to mark the ballot, the candidate’s qualifications for The Laugh Factory won’t matter much.
