Doubt it will pass. All the ‘crats seem to care about is getting illegals licenses so they can vote.

It might make me sound like I have a tinfoil hat, especially since Bush has pushed for this so hard but….

I’ve been wondering if Rove may have suggested this issue as bait for the ‘crats. Get them to go overboard on amnesty for illegals in order to get the middle and the base fired up to vote against the ‘crats.

When the debate first started, it was mostly Republicans pushing this and the ‘crats staying in the tall grass watching. When it was first rejected, the ‘crats came out more and more for it, and now they are openly pushing for it, and showing their constituents what they truly support.

More cities, states or other politicians like Spitzer joined in and are now properly exposed.

As Rush says, put a bag of poo in front of them and they step in it every time.

William, the illegal immigration issue was the least of Gay Davis’ worries. He freaked out over electricity shortages and plunged into predatory power contracts. In short, Tinkerbelle took a state with a budget surplus and gave California a debt of over $30 billion. There are limits to what even California will put up with.

I think Spitzer is a political lowlife and a fraud. The sooner he is out of office the better. The man has no principles.

And what’s going on with Drudge and Hillary? I thought one of her people had Drudge in her pocket. Now its all Hillary all the time.

I hope GOP candidates are smart enough to capitalize on this issue and ride it to victory, and then actually DO SOMETHING about it.

Watch the Heath Schuler bill for a barometer. It has at least 90 bipartisan co-sponsors for an enforcement only bill.

What a contrast with Bush/Kennedy/Reid/Pelosi shamnesty. Shows how out-of-touch with the voters they are.
