What I find interesting is they feel the need to emphasize the “correct” answer for each group. You’ll notice even though both Red and Blue had a vast majority for government staying out of morality, Zogby felt the correct conservative answer was it’s government’s role.

So…umm…does this make Zogby a conservative organization?

Downside: gotta sit in the art theatre w/ patchouli-smelling, peasant-skirted libs who denounce George Bush in the attached coffeehouse after le film. Thank goodness for DVD.

Favorite music: Rap, techno and jazz, equally. Don’t EVEN ask me to choose!

Oh, and conservatives read A LOT more than libs IMO.

I avoid Doctor and Cop shows entirely.

My Name is Earl and The Office might slip some lib politics in, but at least they have the creativity to be humorous about it.

It is surprising how very much like reality these two books ostensibly are.

Reading books is poor time management. If it’s interesting, it will be made into a movie.

I’ll take 2 hours over 20 hours any day of the week.

I’m intellectually shallow like that.

Hmm, I certainly agree on movies, but not TV. Cable networks like Comedy Central and MTV have an obvious liberal bent, but can you name 3 prime-time network tv shows that are politically biased? I watch relatively a lot of tv shows and not one of them is liberal biased. If it were, I’d stop watching (e.g. Boston Legal).

And what exactly does “entertainment preferences” mean?

The commandment is to love your neighbor, which does not always imply giving them cash. Corinthians is clear that in some cases the best thing is to hand them over to Satan to see the error of their ways. But certainly in most cases, if you love someone you will aid them whether you have been told to or not.

A lot of those splits make me shake my head. If you’re Christian, you should feel its your duty to help the less fortunate.

Just not with other people’s money.

Just what I was thinking.

The question about duty to help those less well off was also interesting. Nearly all the liberals said so, and about half of conservatives. The other half would have understood it to be an act of compassion rather than duty. The well known fact that red-states give more to charity shows us which of duty or compassion is more effective.
