Remember? He’s got an offer for a record deal now and performances lined up through New Year’s, but he’s going back in next year for reasons he’ll shortly explain. It’s the perfect Veterans Day clip and only two minutes long, so you’ve got no excuses. Enjoy.

Wow, what a classy guy.
DaveS on November 12, 2007 at 5:34 PM
There’s a reason why this guy became famous so fast. Americans are thirsting for anything they can find that is PRO-AMERICAN.
The American public is worn down by the anti-war, anti-American Media, liberal politicians and leftist “academics”. It’s all around us in our schools, in the Mainstream media, in Hollywood. Anything that comes out that’s pro-American, the American people latch onto it like a leech. It’s so rare these days.

Another fine young man, another fine American. Wishing him a safe journey with his military career and a bright future.

Finally, Shepherd Smith says something that doesn’t make me want to climb through the TV screen and shake him silly.
Thank you, indeed.

On this Veterans Day, the Democrat leadership of the United States asked me to stop by and pass along their thanks and appreciation for this man and all those that serve:
Senate Leader Harry Reid:
Dick Durbin:
Barack Obama thanked this Marine for what he thinks is happening in the WoT:
House Whip James Clyburn told how a potential turnaround in Iraq might affect he and his Democrat colleagues:
John Kerry:
Kerry elaborated:
Thank you Staff Sgt. Dean, and all the other members of the military, especially those who didn’t study hard and make an effot to be smart, and got “stuck in Iraq”. The American people will likely repay you by electing politicians who hate you.

Not a huge fan of rap but I’m a HUGE fan of patriots like this Marine! Thank you for your service.
Yakko77 on November 12, 2007 at 7:17 PM
This guy could be the Pat Tillman of rap. I just hope he stays safe and gets home to record his music … that I’ll NEVER listen to … but that’s ok, record it dude.

Beautiful man!
Meanwhile, Sundance Channel is playing this garbage on Veterans’ Day. Disgraceful.
Hannibal Smith on November 12, 2007 at 11:23 PM
Splendid Veteran’s Day post. I think we have found HotAir’s Poet Laureate of 2006-2007. Put a link, I’ll pitch in for a medal.
RushBaby on November 12, 2007 at 11:52 PM
This marine is so smooth, the only thing he’s missing is a big sparkle coming from his teeth when he smiles.
It’s unbelievable that people like him still exist.
AlexB on November 12, 2007 at 11:53 PM
I love this guy…this is America, this is why he’s serving. It sounds silly to say, but “he” is why he’s serving. It’s because America is America…that’s what drives him to be a hero, to defend liberty.
Now to nit-pick, did I hear The Shep say “much respect” at the end of that clip? What an Arse…….
ritethinker on November 13, 2007 at 12:08 AM
Guys like HIM make it happen…! Semper Fi…!

The man isn’t just a dumb grunt. He is a staff sergeant, and carries leadership responsibilities. And, by his deportment in this interview, he’s clearly intelligent and dedicated to the nation and the Corps. We may be looking at a future Sergeant Major of the Marine Corps, here.
