Video: Flags attack Hillary

Heh.

After a very Presidential-esque news conference – Clinton turned around to leave the reporters and their peppering questions. A staffer swooped open a curtain, and chaos ensued. Four large American flags came crashing in front of Senator Clinton as she headed for the door. In a controlled panic, the staffers and the Senator attempted to catch the flags before they fell to the ground.

“I think the bases are not weighted enough.” Clinton said as she propped flags back up. One of Clinton’s aides quickly summoned the advance man in charge to assist in the crisis.

“…very Presidential-esque news conference…?” Not anymore.

Heh. That never gets old. Personally I blame the Zionist cabal. And Haliburton.

And the video? FUNNY!!

Zorro on November 12, 2007 at 12:45 PM

Yes. I saw him slip out from behind the curtain, in one of his many disguises, just before the flags fell. But never let the lack of actually seeing him dissuade you of the notion that he wasn’t involved. Cheney allows him use of the mindray machine on occasion.

Sue on November 12, 2007 at 12:48 PM

The flags fainted from the spirit of pure evil as it passed.

GoodBoy on November 12, 2007 at 12:49 PM

Wow, see what I mean. He even messed with my post making me quote myself.

I am one of those who believes that EVERYTHING happens for a reason. This is both hilarious and interesting. Great clip.

ThackerAgency on November 12, 2007 at 12:52 PM

Looks like explosives took down the flag. Notice the steel poles didn’t melt either. /sarc

df4jc on November 12, 2007 at 12:53 PM

Hillary displays her steel trap of a mind, to wit:

“Hey, I think the bases aren’t weighted enough!”

uh-huh, uh-huh do ya think so???11??

jdpaz on November 12, 2007 at 12:55 PM

Omen, if this woman(?) becomes pres then the union will fall.

Now, will they do the proper ceremony for a flag that has touched the ground? (honestly I don’t know if it has to be done if it happens inside) But how the heck could she burn it and come out not looking all San Francisco?

I wonder Hsu funded those flags for Hillary…?

df4jc on November 12, 2007 at 1:03 PM

The first to fall actually looks as though it was trying to get away from her. In doing so, it inadvertently knocked over those flags that had the benefit of being further away. Folks, let us follow our flag’s lead, and run like mad away from a Hillary presidency.

Weight of Glory on November 12, 2007 at 1:03 PM

What now she’s a flag pole expert too?

“I think the bases are not weighted enough.” Clinton said as she propped flags back up.

Unlike Senator Clinton who will never physically topple over.

Does anyone else find it incredible offensive to see her touch an American flag???

********

Hillary: “I don’t think the bases are weighted enough.”

What she meant to say: ‘You know, now that those flags have touched the ground, I have a few close friends that would be more then happy to burn them for you.’

ericire12 on November 12, 2007 at 1:21 PM

drjohn on November 12, 2007 at 1:24 PM

Were the tops spear-tipped? Maybe the flags had an agenda?

Black Adam on November 12, 2007 at 1:24 PM

I just think that flag was getting a head start on what will happen to it if Hillary is elected. Either that, or someone upstairs is putting a few subtle hints out there.

Vanceone on November 12, 2007 at 1:24 PM

I pity the flags.

JammieWearingFool on November 12, 2007 at 1:25 PM

Dems,

all your base are too lightweight

and don”t belong to us.

RobCon on November 12, 2007 at 1:31 PM

Good for Hillary, she tried to fix the mess instead of just ignoring it and walking past it. Edwards would have walked.

bnelson44 on November 12, 2007 at 1:31 PM

This is opposition campaign ad imagery if I ever saw it.

Use it, and use it OFTEN.

Hillary as president? Flags fall down.

tickleddragon on November 12, 2007 at 1:33 PM

When the flags realized she was running for president, they passed out.

Omen is right.

After a very Presidential-esque news conference

Gerald Ford is smiling in Heaven.

BohicaTwentyTwo on November 12, 2007 at 1:48 PM

Consultant Friends all tried to warn me
But I held my nose up high
All the time they warned me
But I thought I knew better by and by
They all tried to tell me
But I guess I didn’t care
I turned my back and
Left them standing there

All the Flags that have fallen after me
All the lonely feelings and the burning memories
All the Flowers that wilted whenever I walked in the door
Falling Flags lost forevermore

Billy tried to help me get a job
He had a while ago
When it finally looked like I got it some Flags didn’t want me to go
The money Hzuy got for me
Which I just pissed all away
Now there’s nothing left that I can pay

All the Flags that have fallen after me
All the lonely feelings and the burning memories
All the Flowers that wilted whenever I walked in the door
Falling Flags lost forevermore

Years have passed and I keep thinking
What a fool I’ve been
I look back into the past and
Think of way back then
I know that I lost everything I thought I that could win
I guess I should have listened to my Consultant Friends

All the Flags that have fallen after me
All the lonely feelings and the burning memories
All the Flowers that wilted whenever I walked in the door
Falling Flags lost forevermore

Falling Flags lost forevermore

fusionaddict on November 12, 2007 at 2:32 PM

Perfect symbolism.

Just as those flags fell in her presence -
if that Communist gets elected, so too will this Nation fall. It will be the beginning of the end for America.

OhEssYouCowboys on November 12, 2007 at 2:35 PM

Oh, and I hope they know that some of those flags now have to be ritualistically cremated.

MirCat on November 12, 2007 at 12:56 PM

I thought about that, too. It’s a delicious delimma: on the one hand not to burn a flag that has touched the ground could be considered dishonoring the flag. On the other hand, burning the flag would be just too volatile a symbol.

But there is a perfectly reasonable solution: she could give the flag to the Boy Scouts and have them burn it. They do that sort of thing all the time, and it would be, on balance, good PR for her to reach out to them after the fiasco regarding gays during her husband’s watch.

On the other hand, she could also give it to the American Legion or a similar group, if she didn’t want to revisit the whole Boy Scout thing. That would probably make more political sense, now that I think about it. But either way, she has options.

Whether or not she takes them remains to be seen…

JackOfClubs on November 12, 2007 at 3:44 PM

Who was that guy towards the end… son of Nostrildamus?

SilverStar830 on November 12, 2007 at 3:48 PM

Actually, Hillary was pretty calm through the whole thing and seemed to grab out of concern that a flag was going to drop.

The doofus in the video is the “lock box” dude at the beginning who’s so apologetic. He acts like he wants to kiss her slippers.

This is just one step away from a Chevy Chase SNL news item about President Ford. “Senator Clinton was attacked by 4 American flags today. Alert Secret Service agents seized the flags and wrestled them to the ground.”

I doubt it, especially considering how they bundled them together, then decided to just lean them against the curtain when they couldn’t get them to stand up.

Nitwits.

Are you serious? To many rabid leftists, the Boy Scouts are more evil than bin Hidin. The Legion? They likely believe they are just a bunch of old warmongers.
