posted at 12:15 pm on November 11, 2007 by Bryan
Here’s the schedule. The unbeaten Patriots have the week off. The Packers host the Vikings, the Boys take on the second place Giants and the Colts are up late in San Diego.
Update. Two words. Tony. Romo.

This “NFL” you speak of… I assume it’s some sort of sports enthusiasts’ club?
saint kansas on November 11, 2007 at 12:39 PM
See ya later. Gonna go watch the Pack smack the Queens.
oakpack on November 11, 2007 at 12:39 PM

Saints could make NFL history today with a win.
Go Broncos, scalp the Chiefs!
astuddis on November 11, 2007 at 1:04 PM
Been trying to get into MM’s site the past hour too? Whazzup?
Go Cowboys!
24K lady on November 11, 2007 at 1:07 PM
TD already :)
abinitioadinfinitum on November 11, 2007 at 1:11 PM
Interesting. The Saints defensive backs have so far been not fooled at all by the ply-wood cut-outs the The Rams have erected for their offensive line.
Nyog_of_the_Bog on November 11, 2007 at 1:17 PM
GO BOYS! ROMO ROCKS!
Bless our veterans.
mimi1220 on November 11, 2007 at 1:22 PM
Saints won’t make history giving up plays like that. Arrggg
abinitioadinfinitum on November 11, 2007 at 1:25 PM
Saints are trying to trip up the Rams. First, Breeze throws to Rams DB. Then, Saints, trick Rams into catching passes and Scoring. Saints 7 Rams 7.
Nyog_of_the_Bog on November 11, 2007 at 1:27 PM
God Bless our veterans.
abinitioadinfinitum on November 11, 2007 at 1:28 PM
check out that Packer running game.
Sammy316 on November 11, 2007 at 1:31 PM
The Patriots aren’t really off this weekend. They are plotting to use waterboarding in their game plans.
Patrap on November 11, 2007 at 1:33 PM
In your dreams, Norm :-)
At least you should be able to watch most of this game before the NASCAR race.
steveegg on November 11, 2007 at 1:42 PM
Field goal Crosby. 10-0 Packers.
steveegg on November 11, 2007 at 1:53 PM
Razzle-dazzle from the Rams. Soon to be 14-7
astuddis on November 11, 2007 at 1:58 PM
Wow. Rams 14 – Saints 7
Nyog_of_the_Bog on November 11, 2007 at 2:00 PM
Another Minnesota series, another punt. Norm has to be hating this.
steveegg on November 11, 2007 at 2:01 PM
WTF Drew
abinitioadinfinitum on November 11, 2007 at 2:06 PM
The Packers are now 2 for 2 on 4th-down plays.
steveegg on November 11, 2007 at 2:12 PM
I never bet against my Saints when they are doomed to lose (Seahawks) and I never bet with them when they are picked to win. They are too unpredictable.
abinitioadinfinitum on November 11, 2007 at 2:13 PM
Are you kidding! They stink! all that talent and no one is playing like they are paid. I even had to trade their defense from my fantasy team. I am a true Broncos fan, but they stink this year.
El Guapo on November 11, 2007 at 2:14 PM
There is no football until the Cowboys take the field.
Kowboy on November 11, 2007 at 2:15 PM
Broncos don’t stink… they just smell a little funny this year.
astuddis on November 11, 2007 at 2:17 PM
Too many windows; let’s see if I can get this in the right thread…
At the half:
Packers 13
Vikings 0
steveegg on November 11, 2007 at 2:18 PM
Now, do I want to incur the wrath of Bryan by applying ReWrite™ to Kowboy’s statement?
steveegg on November 11, 2007 at 2:19 PM
c’mon428…
GO PACK!!!
christophercube on November 11, 2007 at 2:30 PM
Holy cow! The Redskins have a passing game!!!

Sammy316 on November 11, 2007 at 2:38 PM
I’d think real hard about it. :)
Kowboy on November 11, 2007 at 2:38 PM
428.
Enrique on November 11, 2007 at 2:39 PM
What’s up, Mr. Over-Exclamation-Point? :)
Enrique on November 11, 2007 at 2:40 PM
Because I thought about it….
There is no football
untilwhen the Cowboys take the field because the Giants are not a professional football franchise.Oh, and it’s now 20-0 Pack.
steveegg on November 11, 2007 at 2:40 PM
I only used 3.
Sammy316 on November 11, 2007 at 2:42 PM
I think he’ll let ya stay. lol
Kowboy on November 11, 2007 at 2:43 PM
Thursday 11/29 8:15pm EST.
We will see who rules the NFC.
Sammy316 on November 11, 2007 at 2:47 PM
The Saints better Cowboy up if they plan to win this game!
abinitioadinfinitum on November 11, 2007 at 2:50 PM
I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again: Kansas City sucks!
stonemeister on November 11, 2007 at 2:52 PM
We got Marion the Barbarian. No worries.
Kowboy on November 11, 2007 at 2:53 PM
429!
26-0 Packers pending the PAT.
steveegg on November 11, 2007 at 2:58 PM
429
No exclamations
Sammy316 on November 11, 2007 at 2:58 PM
429, I’m starting to feel sorry for the Vikings.
Just kidding.
Enrique on November 11, 2007 at 2:59 PM
The Saints are pitiful.
abinitioadinfinitum on November 11, 2007 at 2:59 PM
It’s just business. :)
Enrique on November 11, 2007 at 2:59 PM
Interesting series of downs fer thuh Packers!
429!!! GO PACK!!!
christophercube on November 11, 2007 at 2:59 PM
Then they switch games!!
WTF
Sammy316 on November 11, 2007 at 3:00 PM
absolutely pitiful.
abinitioadinfinitum on November 11, 2007 at 3:00 PM
astuddis
I take it back. Someone must have given once heck of a half time speach because now they are winning by 2 TDs in 3rd Qtr. But I don’t want to jinx them I just picked up Marshall as WR last night, so I hope he gets me some points!
El Guapo on November 11, 2007 at 3:00 PM
I’ll keep the rest of you Packer Backers posted on any significant stuff (’tis good to be home).
steveegg on November 11, 2007 at 3:01 PM
Much appreciated.
Who gives a rats ass about the Eagles/Redskins.
Sammy316 on November 11, 2007 at 3:03 PM
Down goes Peterson.
steveegg on November 11, 2007 at 3:05 PM
A Viking fan must be in charge of programming at the NFL today.
Wonder if Favre will break 430 in front o’ the home crowd.
Phew… c’mon Vince, c’mon Titans.
christophercube on November 11, 2007 at 3:07 PM
I would rather watch Vinnie and his Rascal.
Sammy316 on November 11, 2007 at 3:09 PM
Vikes turn it over on downs at the Packers 25. After 3 quarters, it’s the Packers 27, the Vikings 0.
steveegg on November 11, 2007 at 3:11 PM
Why the redskins? Who cares? Brett is DA MAN!
Bob
Bobnormal on November 11, 2007 at 3:12 PM
NICE TITAN TD! WOW…
christophercube on November 11, 2007 at 3:14 PM
My guess is that’s a closer game.
steveegg on November 11, 2007 at 3:18 PM
Tip-drill pick in the end zone by Woodson keeps the shutout alive.
steveegg on November 11, 2007 at 3:21 PM
WooHoo.
Must suck to be purple today.
Sammy316 on November 11, 2007 at 3:26 PM
You could say that. Norm’s glad that they switched off the game in northern California.
If James Jones could’ve got away, that would’ve been 430.
steveegg on November 11, 2007 at 3:28 PM
430, this isn’t even funny anymore.
Enrique on November 11, 2007 at 3:31 PM
430
Sammy316 on November 11, 2007 at 3:31 PM
BOINK! 430. A badly-underthrown ball bounced off two sets of Vikings hands into Ruvell Martin’s.
34-0 Pack.
steveegg on November 11, 2007 at 3:31 PM
Just saw the replay.
LOL
The horror
Sammy316 on November 11, 2007 at 3:33 PM
Turn out the lights, the party’s over.
steveegg on November 11, 2007 at 3:35 PM
Stat of the day – Starting QBs since Favre took over that job:
Chicago 21 (most in the NFL; sorry GRRRRR)
Detroit 15
Minnesota 14
Green Bay 1
Stat of the day #2 – the Vikes haven’t been shut out since Favre joined the Packers…until perhaps today.
steveegg on November 11, 2007 at 3:38 PM
Favre is done for the day; Aaron Rogers will take us through the last 3:49.
steveegg on November 11, 2007 at 3:40 PM
V.Young seeing Gray matter.
Look at the imposters wearing Ram uniforms.
Why would y’all watch Favre make history when the Redskincolor team is playing the Shegals?
christophercube on November 11, 2007 at 3:42 PM
Grab, grab, grab, grab. A little flip pass to Taylor turned into a 50-yard gain.
steveegg on November 11, 2007 at 3:46 PM
And once again the Vikes turn it over on downs.
51 seconds and 2 kneeldowns to a 34-0 whuppin’ by the Packers.
steveegg on November 11, 2007 at 3:51 PM
8 and 1! GO PACK!!!
christophercube on November 11, 2007 at 3:53 PM
The shut-out stands.
Next stop, turkey day and that team from Detroit.
Sammy316 on November 11, 2007 at 3:53 PM
Wow Testaverde is actually making a game of it.
Sammy316 on November 11, 2007 at 3:54 PM
Seems lately like a different Giant team than faced at start of season.
Go Dallas!
christophercube on November 11, 2007 at 4:08 PM
Yep, Giants are looking tough today. Let’s see how the boys adjust in the second half.
In the meantime, this two minute drill is looking pretty good.
conservnut on November 11, 2007 at 5:31 PM
Touchdown!!!!!!!!!!!!!
conservnut on November 11, 2007 at 5:34 PM
Cowboys need to run the no huddle all 2nd half.
Kowboy on November 11, 2007 at 5:35 PM
More pressure on Manning, he’ll fold like a lawnchair. Peyton he ain’t
conservnut on November 11, 2007 at 5:52 PM
We are “stuck” with the Cardinals here in the desert, or so I first thought. They are looking good! Just recovered a fumble to end the 3rd and they are up 24-14 over the Lions!!! Go Cardinals!
Ordinary1 on November 11, 2007 at 6:37 PM
Seahawks tomorrow night. Most of the country may not care, but that’s my team! Hopefully they’ll start playing a little better. They are misfiring just enough to have them stumbling. It won’t take much to get them back to really good football. It starts tomorrow night! (hopefully)
Ordinary1 on November 11, 2007 at 6:40 PM
TOUCHDOWN AZ! 31-14 assuming the extra point is good. It’s good! Whooo hooo! Sorry Lions fans.
Ordinary1 on November 11, 2007 at 6:44 PM
Kitna throws an interception. Zona ball in Lions territory. This is getting outta hand! :-)
Ordinary1 on November 11, 2007 at 6:52 PM
Fumble AZ. I spoke too soon… maybe. Lions ball.
Ordinary1 on November 11, 2007 at 6:53 PM
OK. Lions fumble again. 8 minutes to play. Zona 31-14. I’m thinkin’ game over. Colts/Chargers tonight. Might be a really good game!
Ordinary1 on November 11, 2007 at 7:00 PM
Arizona FUMBLE! Lions ball inside the 20. OK, I’m gonna go watch the game. Later.
Ordinary1 on November 11, 2007 at 7:03 PM
Oh no! THe Giants are losing to the Cowboys! So much for those stupid red jerseys I guess! Romomania rolls on!
Gatordoug on November 11, 2007 at 7:04 PM
Well Da Bears wrapped up this one and I want to go to NBC to warm up for my Colts, but I can’t bear to see or hear Olbermann……………Looks like I’ll have to flip back and forth all night and wear the batteries out in my remote just to avoid The Olberdouche.
DAMN THAT NBC!!!!
commonsensehoosier on November 11, 2007 at 7:14 PM
The Dallas juggernaut marches on.
Kowboy on November 11, 2007 at 7:16 PM
YES! Giants lose, Cowboys are 8-1! Add to this the Steelers comeback win, and this was a good Sunday!
Gatordoug on November 11, 2007 at 7:16 PM
I know Cowboy haters can’t stand for the Boys to be called Americas Team, well… Americas Team just did 8 and 1.
coldshot on November 11, 2007 at 7:29 PM
Then they switch games!!
WTF
Sammy316 on November 11, 2007 at 3:00 PM
Pony-up for some Sunday Ticket and you wouldn’t miss any of the Favre legend.
