Nothing strange about it at all,like I said,Carlos was insulting Chavez by using the informal mode.

What I meant was that he could have used tu without having to say shut up. Would have accomplished the same thing. So, was surprised at the direct, double insult.

I was visiting Spain in 1992 and saw the King and Queen at the opening of the Expo which was also celebrating the 500th anniversary of Cristobal Columbo’s great sea adventure. Anyway, they both were so impressive and even though he wasn’t a young man, he was quite handsome. Yes, he was handpicked by Franco but he is his own man and does his own thing, then and now. If not for Hot Air, I would not have known about this. Where is the MSM on this?

It appears to me that Spanish King Juan Carlos told Chavez to shut up so he could listen to Jose Luis Rodriguez Zapatero speech. Chavez had his turn but tried to make certain that Zapatero would not get his. Wouldn't it be nice if Hannity did the same thing on his show when the liberal kooks start interrupting with their diatribes? Even better would have been Chavez answering the question posed by Juan Carlos. "The reason I won't shut up is I am better, smarter, and prettier than the rest of you. Bushitler!"

Heh, one of my favorite movies of all time, Mel Brook’s History of the World Part I!

There’s a scene in that movie (the French revolution) that makes me think of Chavez. It’s when the French King Louie (Mel Brooks) is shooting clays (that turn out to be French peasants) and one of his aids says to him, “your highness the people are revolting” to which King Louie responds “you said it, they stink on ice!”

Chavez is a POS and about the only thing I like about that whole situation in Venezuela is the fact that the useful idiot celebrities that are fawning all over that socialist tyrant are getting egg on their face now that Chavez’s goons have started shooting all those that are standing up for freedom, I will however not hold my breath thinking these same celebrity POS that support and kiss is arse will ever eat crow by admitting they are wrong about Chavez!
