I am forced to assume that arrogance, anti-Americanism, megalomania, and plain stupidity run in Senator Dodd’s family. Like father, like son.

Mr. Dodd (I am unable to bring myself to call you Senator as it would be a sign of respect):

I am absolutely appalled at your comment regarding KSM having taken the “moral high ground” from the US because of his claims of being tortured. First of all that walking piece of garbage (KSM) through his own murderous actions (9-11, Daniel Pearl, and numerous other atrocities) has ABSOLUTELY NO MORAL GROUND TO STAND ON WHATSOEVER!

In making such comments you have managed to bolster our enemy’s propaganda to be used against us, and for what, for your own political gain that’s what! That sir is reprehensible to say the least and utterly morally repugnant! You are placing your own political aspirations above the security of our Republic, its citizens and that (during a time of war) in my opinion is treason!

KSM is a mass murderer responsible for the deaths of thousands of innocent people around the world and would have murdered thousands more had our government not water boarded him, a technique that is not life threatening nor has any long term effects.

As a citizen of the United States I have no qualms with KSM being water boarded or even “tortured” if it saves even just one of my fellow Americans, in fact in my opinion KSM is lucky he’s still walking and breathing and if he rots in Gitmo the rest of his life I’d be fine with that too!

The only person giving any credence to KSM having the “moral high ground” is you Mr. Dodd by even acknowledging this monster! KSM is a mass murder whose hands are dripping with blood and he is the last person we should be concerned about when it comes to maintaining the “moral high ground” as he’s only second to Satan himself when it comes to morals!

As a former military man you should know it is common practice for our enemies to claim torture at the drop of a Koran, but instead of ignoring their propaganda your public comments have given them a platform, and that in of itself aids our enemies goal.

Our enemy is already biased against us and will say and think what they will of us regardless of what we do or don’t do! In addition our enemy has proven time and time again they have no morals or qualms nor give a second thought to slaughtering thousands of innocent people to further their hateful and fascist ideology, therefore I fail to see how water boarding KSM is by any stretch of reality even slightly morally comparable to what this monster has done!

So why do you insist on playing into our enemies hands with such comments? Well in my opinion and as I stated previously you use such hyperbole because you’re running for President…the Whitehouse at any cost right Mr. Dodd? The Whitehouse even at the cost of our Republic and its citizens, the very citizens and Republic YOU took an oath to uphold and protect! Yet in the same breath you have the nerve to espouse upon KSM having taken the moral high ground from the US, talk about a slap in the face, that would be laughable it weren’t so repugnant and sickening!

If you truly are in the least bit concerned with taking the “moral high ground” then you should start by resigning your position as a Senator and apologize to the families of all those innocent victims murdered on 9-11 for even entertaining the thought that KSM has taken away the moral high ground from the US let alone that excuse for a human being having any morals to speak of!

KSM and the term “moral high ground” are not synonymous and never will be no matter how you try to spin it. You sir are not fit to be a Senator let alone President!
