Blecch. Are there women who really find this kind of metro-slobbering attractive? I’m glad I don’t know any:
Myrna Blyth wrote the definitive insider’s account blasting the liberal bias of women’s magazines. It’s a good antidote to this pabulum.

Sorry, that made me laugh hard.

Are we sure his writers are on strike?
Is he supposed to be funny?
Does he think we think that funny is in the gall bladder of the beholder?
I am glamour… and you can too.

He should stick to what he did best – being a closet, homosexual on Strangers With Candy.
He had that down … pat.

His writers must be on strike. That was weak compared to his normal bit.

I don’t think it was an act.

Funny enough for the Glamour magazine Woman of the Year Awards. How hard are you gonna “work it” for something next to no one is going to see?

Perfect for the libs: unfunny comedian who pretends to be a conservative and metro-sissy who pretends to be straight.

I think its kind reducing women in power to focus on what they are wearing.

He was so tough on a President who had to sit there and take it. I’ve never heard him, and I’m not about to start. Is his book title supposed to be ironic or just stupid?

The Myrna Blyth book looks interesting. Thanks for the link.
Not sure if pabulum or pablum is the right word to use here. My take on it is that it was a paying gig and Colbert gave the audience what they wanted. Seemed like a solid, but not side-splitting, five minutes.
