If half of the programming on cable or satellite weren’t funded from tier packages and you could pick your channels from a menu, their would be a lot of bandwidth available for internet access over cable for one.

Has that moron ever explained why she writes like that? And why, as if it wasn’t obnoxious enough, she has to do things like type the word “today” as “2day”, like she’s some sort of text messaging teenager? Seriously, I want to understand! Is it just that she’s that insane?

RightWinged on November 7, 2007 at 9:33 PM

They made plans and they talked,
MSNBC offered, she balked,
But eventually they thought it was done.

Then Ro opened her mouth
And the deal all went South,

I’m actually disappointed. The more her and those like her speak, the more the American people see what bitter, hateful dolts the left have become……but we still have the rest of Hollyweird, the drive-bys, union leaders, college faculty, and the pop-culture glitterati….so on reflection….I’m actually now happy……

bashert – as we say

We say? Gee, I didn’t realize the O’Donnell clan spoke Yiddish. Maybe they’re from County Kvetch. I wonder if she would have so casually appropriated black vernacular.

“Bashert”, btw, is Yiddish for fate. Most often it’s used in the context of one’s spouse. People will refer to their spouse as their “bashert”, meaning they were fated to be together.

rokemronnie on November 7, 2007 at 10:05 PM

I couldn’t write that badly if I tried. You could take away 75% of my brain and electrically zap all of the intelligence out of what was left and I still couldn’t write that badly.

Explains a lot, actually.

That video is so funny. Outside of some of the major cities, you might as well just forget you speak or read English because otherwise you’ll go insane.

I forgot where I was, but I ran across a noodle shop that was decorated in Post-Modern Nazi, with German hakenkreutz’s and iron crosses and everything.

Taiwan’s not as bad as the Mainland, but it comes close once you leave Taipei.

Howzit my good friend, no translation needed!

Somewhere in San Francisco there are some confused immigrants from China trying to assimilate into this country and in a city where you can find guys dressed up as such.

Kini on November 8, 2007 at 12:52 AM

Sorry all for the OT.

Thanks for the inquiry dear Kini. It’s pretty depressing with homes burned in the immediate neighborhood, and so many animals killed, and constant reminders, but one keeps going on. HA always manages to distract, inform and entertain, not in this order necessarily. Never been to Hawaii, for no specific reason. But some day I’ll visit you, with permission. I want to see the gardens. With best regards,

Entelechy on November 8, 2007 at 1:03 AM

Entelechy, you would be always welcome my friend. Anytime.

I had wondered how you made out since I believe you were traveling during the fires.
My sympathies and prayers go out to you, your family, pets and your neighbors.

I’m as guilty for being Off Topic many times and I’m sure I irk the HA team, but shaaaw, dis is a Rosie post. As Bryan though he had nuthin else,

Sorry. I got nothin’ after that.

Auto-magically, it presents itself.

You don’t have to be sorry about being OT. Keep in touch and let us know what we can do to help you out.

Valiant on November 8, 2007 at 7:01 AM

Gee, maybe they can give that slot to Geraldo?

BTW was it Rosie opening her maw or what happened afterward that ended the deal? I bet the network got eAvalanched….

Kini on November 8, 2007 at 1:35 AM

Just having you here, and are you is the best. Thanks for the kind words Kini.

On topic, I’ve been reflecting a bit, just a tiny bit – I conclude that she wanted too much money, couldn’t agree, and having opened her big mouth, they used that to end it.

Entelechy on November 8, 2007 at 1:08 PM

E, you need more coffee – meant to say, Kini, that you are you, or the way you are…goofy today no matter how I write it – you know what I’m trying to say, that I like you my friend, and that you’re here on HA. Regards and thank you,

Entelechy on November 8, 2007 at 1:10 PM

The photo has Rosie with mouth wide open and a come hither look. Just thinking of the possibilities is frightening!!!!!!!!!!.

Larraby on November 8, 2007 at 2:57 PM

Rosie, she entertains us best by far when she isn’t trying. It isn’t as though we’re happy when she isn’t, but her attempts to explain/justify/rationalize anything negative that happens to her are always hilarious.

It doesn’t hurt that so many here magnify the humor with your razor-sharp wits.
