Video: Hillary Clinton on The Situation Room

Sen. Clinton confesses that she wasn’t at her best during last week’s debate. She also keeps up with the nuance on drivers licenses for illegals.

77% of the country is against her nuanced position on that.

I’ll give her points for downplaying the girl card nonsense. Internal polls must have shown that that was a sure loser.

I’m also very comfortable in the kitchen, and I really mean it!

Entelechy on November 6, 2007 at 6:47 PM

She makes my skin crawl, literally. Bad omen.

IrishEi on November 6, 2007 at 6:47 PM

Way to dodge the immigration driver license question.

Energy policy – take profits
Health care policy – a bureaucracy nightmare

Yet, she might be our best hope yet.

Kini on November 6, 2007 at 6:52 PM

“Internal polls must have shown that that was a sure loser.”

French polls concur. Just ask the Segolene Royal campaign.

gabriel sutherland on November 6, 2007 at 6:52 PM

“I’ve answered…more than 5,000 questions in the last few months.”

No you haven’t, airhead. You’ve answered 5 questions more than 1,000 times.

RedWinged Blackbird on November 6, 2007 at 6:52 PM

I think Hillary’s problem is she simply just can’t fake sincerity, All the rest of the Dem candidates can at least act as though the care about anything other than raw power….
she simply comes across as a huge fake, mouthing words she does not care about other than they may make her POTUS…
she really is creepy….

jojostan on November 6, 2007 at 6:55 PM

just curious…Dems Trips to Iowa;
Shillary-.-64
B. Hussein-95
Silky -.-.-135
What kind of carbon footprint does that leave?
.

77% of the country is against her nuanced position on that.

I thought we had a week off from the “N” word with AP on vacay.

And I’m really comfortable in the kitchen!

Sillary

She doesn’t look comfortable anywhere, except maybe the Senate. She looks very comfortable there, among the preening phonies, liars and sharks. Very, very comfortable.

Jaibones on November 6, 2007 at 7:00 PM

You can bet CNN won’t be the one to actually ask a ‘yes or no’ question and expect an answer. The damage is done, the ads are in the can … they will wait there.

tarpon on November 6, 2007 at 7:04 PM

Glen beck talked about Hillary in the kitchen on
his show yesterday, this wasn’t the first time she played the woman card, she played the woman card
back when her husband got caught putting a cigar
where the sun doesn’t shine.
But what got her in hot water with the feminazis,
wasn’t the Tammy Wynette “stand by your man” comment,
but she was comfortable in the kitchen “baking cookies”.

canopfor on November 6, 2007 at 7:13 PM

She has more positions than my car seat.

SouthernGent on November 6, 2007 at 7:13 PM

If this is a 500 mile race, then Hillary sounds battered and defeated after only 120 miles. Listen to her. Maybe she’s nursing a cold, but she’s rolling her eyes even when she’s getting soft ball pitches.

gabriel sutherland on November 6, 2007 at 7:15 PM

Jaibones on November 6, 2007 at 7:00 PM

She’s not comfortable in any place, nor any state (of mind), until she’s in charge of the world. Because of that very reason, she never will be.

Entelechy on November 6, 2007 at 7:16 PM

Explain to me how being comfortable in the kitchen helps anyone’s presidential candidacy???

Ahmedinejad: We shall wipe Isreal off the face of the Earth.

Shillary: Just a second, Ahmed. Let me whip up a quick batch of chocolate chip cookies. I’m so comfortable in the kitchen that it won’t take long.

Isn’t it about time the adults take over? Somebody shoe some gumballs….please….

I’ll give her points for downplaying the girl card nonsense.

I don’t, because, except for some of the cooking channel hosts, “the kitchen” doesn’t inspire male or non-gender images.

I see another Saturday Night Live skit here.

Buy Danish on November 6, 2007 at 7:24 PM

She is going to win because she is the only one talking about what she is going to do with the country.

Everybody else is talking about how bad Hillary is with no ideas on how to make this great country better. Without a clear alternative to her, she’s going to win.

Get used to it. I don’t want it to happen, I don’t think it should happen, but we don’t have a Bobby Jindal conservative to act as an alternative to her.

ThackerAgency on November 6, 2007 at 7:28 PM

But I intend to use former Presidents, including my husband. We have a lot of repair work to do around the world.

When she said that I thought she was about to say ” to our marriage”.

Dork B. on November 6, 2007 at 7:30 PM

Hillary will hang herself with her own words. All the Republican nominee will have to do is hand her plenty of rope (there is at least 15 years of it) and avoid major gaffes of his own. Giuliani may be more effective fighting Hillary, but I’d prefer Mitt in the oval office. Either one will do.

Splashman on November 6, 2007 at 7:32 PM

she’s rolling her eyes even when she’s getting soft ball pitches.

Not because she’s tired. Because she can’t believe anyone would question her intentions. She honestly believes she is right and has the solutions to all of our “problems”.

Now if we’d all just get the hell out of the way and let her version of destiny take it’s course..

BacaDog on November 6, 2007 at 7:33 PM

Phonier than her husband, $3 Bill.

JammieWearingFool on November 6, 2007 at 7:36 PM

And the kitchen is where she should stay.

Men aren’t so mean there.

Not if they want to eat.

drjohn on November 6, 2007 at 7:43 PM

“That’s what I’m going to try to do as President again…”

Was that a slip of the tongue there? Maybe she was President while Bill was running around with his zipper open.

infidel4life on November 6, 2007 at 7:44 PM

Without a clear alternative to her, she’s going to win.

You know what our problem is? We just can’t unify.

Look at the Dems. For all of the various factions, from the “centrists” to the wackos, they will pull together and support the party nominee whoever it is. Whatever happens, when it is nut-cuttin’ time, they will pull the big “D” lever on election day.

We, on the other hand, will beat our candidate to death on a particular position even though the overall platform is more conservative than not. Some will whine and cry and gnash their teeth and “protest” by staying home rather than vote.

The day after the election, these same folks will cry and whine and gnash their teeth bemoaning the fact that absolutely none of their positions will become law for the forseeable future.

What’s up with that……..?

BacaDog on November 6, 2007 at 7:48 PM

Clinton:
“I intend to use former presidents, including my husband. We have a lot of repair work to do around the world. The damage that has been done by the failed policies of this administation is heartbraking and dangerous.”

It looks like we’re going to get more Carter foreign policy if Hillary’s elected.

jaime on November 6, 2007 at 7:56 PM

Looks like her an slick willy smoked a dube before the interview.

sonnyspats1 on November 6, 2007 at 7:57 PM

The woman is simply incapable of answering a yes or no question.

ctmom on November 6, 2007 at 8:15 PM

After watchiung her I need to take a shower.

Winebabe on November 6, 2007 at 8:20 PM

The very first question she didn’t have a scripted answer for, she flubbed and flip flopped.

She has a clear plan and its ecoterror-socialism, kill initiative, raise taxes, kill the economy and everybody gets used to Chinese green.

Hillary loves a.m.n.e.s.t.y, illegal aliens will exist no more because all of the six billion people on the earth will qualify to be one degree better than US citizens.
They’ll have criminal immunity, receive free health care, free education through college, free food, subsidized housing and probably free taxi service.
The money to pay for it will come out of defense spending and the largest tax increase in the history of the world.

Sexist? Of course its sexist, Hillary is entitled to a free pass because she’s the victim and besides she’s better than us (that makes her totalitarian regime OK).

Speakup on November 6, 2007 at 8:25 PM

“complexity of the situation”.

Bullcr*p!! It is VERY simple.

Do you give government photo ID’s to illegal aliens so they can board airplanes? Yes or no? Simple.

What part of 9/11 doesn’t she and her ilk understand – the 9 or the 11??

Even though the Chertoff/Spitzer trifecta has 3 classes – trusted, hoi poloi, and “we have no idea who this person is” – this is ripe for abuse.

“complex”? Only when trying to obfuscate the issue so you can get votes from both sides of the issue.

She-weasel!

“Thats what I’m going to try to do as president AGAIN”. Who caught that?

Oh my gosh. I sure didn’t. OK who’s got the emails of the ad campaign directors of the Repubs :) ? I wanna see that in a buncha techno YouTube remixes and and all over the election ads next year.

Power hungry w*tch.

Was that Candy Crowley or Ward Churchill?

peacenprosperity on November 6, 2007 at 9:13 PM

Her Thighness is evil.

Pure evil.

Was that Candy Crowley or Ward Churchill?

Priceless.

Corky on November 6, 2007 at 9:18 PM

She did not bring her “A” game?

TheSitRep on November 6, 2007 at 9:26 PM

Her thyming sucks.

Gee, Hillary is so “available” and “talkative” now when its her ass on the line. Ask her any other questions if you can even get her on something other than CNN and she can’t see to talk a complete sentence or get herself in trouble like this. hmmmm…no we see what happens when we get a little out of her… Prez material?….. pfffft… NEXT…. who else ya got Dems?…hmmmm? she’s toast.

johnnyU on November 6, 2007 at 10:19 PM

HA! I just read “speakups” response.
I’m with ya….

infidel4life on November 6, 2007 at 7:44 PM

I caught that — I hope the Republican Party or the Republican candidates caught that so that they can play it back during the general elections if she is the nominee! What a pure outright idiot. She honestly thinks she deserves the Presidency and it should be handed to her! When will she realize that she doesn’t have the political savvy that Bill has and never will. Look for Bill to pull her butt out of every single gaff she makes. It’s already started with the fallout from the debate! Poor Hillary, she was treated badly by Russert! Singled out! Poor baby!

We’re sorry. This video is no longer available.

Connie on November 7, 2007 at 2:57 AM

Hillary got to YouTube!

Black Adam on November 7, 2007 at 4:27 AM

The video is here. I swear, the womans nose gets longer as the interview goes on. She still refuses to answer the yes or no question on if she asked The Clenis to speed the process to release documents from the archives.

Notice how she takes the position to oppose the suspension of the constitution in Pakistan, but she can’t make a commitment on drivers licenses for illegals.

You can always tell when the Hildebeast is lying because her lips are moving. That woman is pathetic!

csdeven on November 7, 2007 at 7:53 AM

“I wasn’t at my best.”

That is not a valid excuse for anyone wanting to be POTUS. Ever notice how presidents’ hair always seems to go gray within a year of taking the office? It’s because the office is so darned stressful. You have to be at your best even when you’re asleep. If you’re not at your best, money gets wasted, you get viscerated by the press, or, if it’s a foreign policy decision, look out.

She honestly believes (maybe the only honest thing she believes) that she’s going to get a pass for this by saying that she wasn’t at her best. Give me a break.

flutejpl on November 7, 2007 at 9:15 AM

“The negotations with Ahmadinejad did not go as well as I hoped because I had a bad hair day…”

“And he was mean to me…”
