Fred’s new ad

Everyone’s posting this new ad so I guess I will too. It starts its broadcast run tomorrow. It’s a solid ad, nothing to jump up and down about, though you see a little bit of Fred’s Hollywood chops in it. Folksy Fred is fine but I prefer the cigar-chomping Fred who talks smack to Michael Moore.

“Lie” #1 – Most members are shocked by your behavior. You would call that Fred Derangement Syndrome. Would 97% make you feel better?
“Lie” #2 – You do post the same stuff. It’s the same sound bytes, over and over: “Scumbag lobbyist…defended terrorists…what’s a dollar…lobbied for abortion, killed babies himself…etc etc.” Same. Stuff. Over. And. Over. If I posted how many times you had said this stuff, the post along would take up more page space than this entire thread.

Wow. I didn’t even have to scroll up much. But, I guess those are the rare circumstances when you’re not saying something you know will get you more closely looked at by those who have the power to shut down your kind of bile, eh?
“Lie” #4 – I have no proof for that, just experience. Experience with people who have openly proclaimed that your responses drove them away from ever coming back to this site. Oh, wait, actually that is proof. I’ve seen no other member accomplish it.
“Lie” #5 – You don’t make me mad. Obviously, you’re the only mad one here, as you’ve defaulted to name calling, profanity, and personal insults. Explain that one away.
“Lie” #6 – You attack people who disagree with you all the time. I’m not even going to bother pointing out those you’ve admonished, berated, mocked, and flat-out insulted in this thread. You’ve done it in countless other threads, all relating to Fred. Somehow, you stay civil in threads of other topics, and I recognize that. This is why I believe you truly have FDS. Just like a rabid liberal, who can carry on a perfectly nice conversation with people but turn into the tasmanian devil when Bush is mentioned, you somehow transform into an absolute troll with no temper when Fred is discussed.
Seriously. It’s old, and the number of people who have just started ignoring you keeps growing. Ask yourself why you needed to include “disclaimers”. The very fact of it means you recognize the vast populace who is tired of your rhetoric. We’re all glad to have a discussion about anything. However, the level you drag it down to is revolting. You are no better than the likes of Alex Jones.
And my final word, which is not a lie, is this: I don’t even like Thompson anymore. But your spittle-flecked scorched theses are enough to make me vote for him just so I know I’m not voting the same way the lunatics are.

Just a suggestion, but just drop it. Let him claim victory or whatever he does while making his stuffed animals sit at the children’s table. He is just acting like a petulant little child now.
I admit I was playing with him last night, but I was bored and I thought the thread was dead. Slow news day I guess. But the more you answer his wailing in the crib the more he is going to do it.

Didn’t know you have a hard time understanding sarcasm. That is why posting to you is so dangerous. I make a sarcastic remark and you will run around for weeks taking it out of context.
You on the other hand make it plain that ones beliefs have no bearing on whether you support them or not. An honest conservative valued Wicken would be fine with you running our country. Making his decisions using Tarot cards. That’s comforting.
