Video: Edwards ad says “Oops, our bad.”

The best way to attack Hillary is, evidently, to quote her accurately.

These Edwards ads will be useful next summer.

Yes, Edwards, you’re so ethical and honest… I mean, you’re the hero of the nutroots left. You criticize people for taking money from people you take money from. You make money off of predatory lending while attacking it. And last, but certainly not least, you’re not the extreme anti-war candidate… but in 2004 you ran as the lone pro-Iraq war Dem who said that you support Bush’s actions at the UN and in Iraq, and stated that you were NOT lied to on WMDs, even though Chris Matthews was begging you to call Bush a liar. The best part is the fact that the nutroots love you. They are so married to lies and just a dishonest existence, that your unbelievable dishonesty attracts them to you. It’s either that or they’re too stupid to see that you’re a “whichever way the wind blows” Dem (like all the rest).

I hate to, but I must commend the Edwards campaign. Good for them for using her own words to discredit her own words.

SouthernGent on November 5, 2007 at 10:19 PM

That strategy just might work,…. for our side.

Kini on November 5, 2007 at 10:23 PM

Okay, either I heard her wrong or,
I took her out of context or,
that,s not what she said,but,
she did say it was the Chinese,
more specificly the Red Chinese
Military lobbyists.

I think he should just go with his old trial lawyer tricks and channel Hillary’s… oh never mind he is irrelevant.

Kahuna on November 5, 2007 at 10:30 PM

From what I can tell she pretty much hates real Americans.

bbz123 on November 5, 2007 at 10:36 PM

I wonder when they will break the story of her six elective abortions.

TBinSTL on November 5, 2007 at 10:40 PM

Sorry, should have had a /sarc tag there or, at least, a winky.

TBinSTL on November 5, 2007 at 10:41 PM

Meh. Cancel the election, it’s unneccesary. She’s already redecorating. The Senator from New York said she is “excited to be the first woman president,”

No wonder Coulter love helping Silky raise money.

They have that classical tune as a de facto theme to her flip flopping. NICE. Tricks like that stick in ordinary peoples’ minds. Maybe Queen Hillary can still be unseated so the Republican candidate can have an easier opponent.

LMAO, I needed my daily laugh and found it.

Another great ad from the Edwards Team. Bravo.

Negative campaigning before primaries has always baffled me. When the democrat nominee finally gets selected, how do the loser candidates justify falling in line and supporting the winner? Party vs party negative makes sense, but not intraparty mudthrowing…

redshirt on November 5, 2007 at 11:06 PM

I like the music in the background. I found myself dancing a little bit.

BadgerHawk on November 5, 2007 at 11:10 PM

I’m beginning to wonder if Edwards isn’t setting himself up for a “populist,” anti-war third party run. He’s raised a pretty good amount of money, has easily been the hardest on Clinton and has remained the darling of the hardcore left.

Slublog on November 5, 2007 at 11:12 PM

Damn..no longer available. I wanted to see it.

Dirthead on November 5, 2007 at 11:23 PM

Lets make a list of the lobbyists that Hillary takes money from.

csdeven on November 5, 2007 at 11:45 PM

It doesn’t even sound like she believes herself.

Sweet.

Memo to Republicans:

Please, for the love of God, pay attention.

If Edwards, of all people, can do this, and do it well, we sure as hell can.

I’d better see a constant stream of ads like this from our eventual nominee.

psst. Don’t tell AP, but I’m diggin’ on Bryan’s world coverage.

Is the Edwards campaign being run by 6-year olds? It seems to have that level of intellect and logic…

rockbend on November 6, 2007 at 7:55 AM

“Alot of those lobbiests, not all of them, well, some of them, maybe one or two, one at least represents REAL AMERICAN PEOPLE! I just can’t remember which one right now.”

ctmom on November 6, 2007 at 8:29 AM

I know she thinks she understands what she thought she said, But I am not sure what she understands is what she really meant. Either way, I am sure she will say what she thinks is what she wants us to think, therefore what she says is what we really heard despite the fact that she says that she said it because her aid was blocking the view of the teleprompter requiring her to ad-lib what she thought was what she didn’t want to say after she said it wondering why in the …. did anyone have access to that film. It should have been lost in the archives.
I think I’m dizzy.

Hence, Reagan’s 11th commandment. I’ve never understood why they do it either, because all the negatives they throw at each other in the primaries can only come back to haunt whoever is the nominee. Oh well. I truly hope the Dhimms keep flinging those peas!!

lan astaslem on November 6, 2007 at 9:57 AM

Take notes, gentlemen…

Texas Nick 77 on November 6, 2007 at 10:40 AM

I like how the guy didn’t even finish the question before Hillary had the word ‘Yes’ out of her mouth. She couldn’t wait to say ‘YES’!

Hmmmmmm….. Wouldn’t lobbyists also include: Big Tobacco, Big Oil, Big Medicine, and The NRA? Interesting….. Very interesting!
