Just watched the Steve King interview.

To paraphrase Golda Meir, who said that the conflict between the Palestinians and Israelis “won’t end until they begin to love their children more than they hate us,” the war in Congress between the Democrat leadership and President Bush won’t end until they begin to love America more than they hate George Bush.

Wow, when our son was serving in Rimadi a parade of this
type was unthinkable…..we are thankful that his units work and sacrafice seem to have made a difference in the lives of the people of Rimadi….

What is it about the sight of a peaceful assembly that makes me appreciate FREEDOM? I feel very happy to see the unsufferable violence perpetrated upon these folke has been beaten back into the F’n spider hole where it belongs. It may take awhile but we are gaining allies there in Anbar. These people are the constituency of the next elected officials of Iraq. I hate to say it but it now becomes clear why the Sunni minority ruled the Shite majority for all those years.

Washington, DC (Associated Press)– Harry Reid (D-NV) announced today that the turnaround in Anbar Province is a direct result of global warming.

“It is clear that these people have succumbed to the devistating effect that global warming poses to the human psyche. Whatever they are doing there must be stopped immediately,” Reid says. “By the way, the surge has failed.”

“The United States needs to divert all of its money, forces, time and resources to stop scourge that is global warming.”

When asked to elaborate further, he replied, “Didn’t I just tell you the surge has failed? No further questions.”

Sorry ’bout this post, but I don’t know how/where else to ask. Has anyone heard of an Iraqi military unit taking up a collection for the wild fire victims in California? I saw in one source that $1,000.00 had been donated by Iraqi soldiers, but I haven’t seen it confirmed.

Hell…from what I’ve read, it was that way as recently as early this year.
