Video: Mary Katharine Ham, O’Reilly blow the lid off of Craig’s List

Newsflash one: It’s not a good idea to meet strangers in private. Newsflash two: Copyright issues occasionally come up on YouTube. All this and more on the latest installment of “Policing the Net.” Are not even Papa Bear and the Hammer safe from this excruciatingly slow news week, my friends?

The terrible truth awaits.

Blowback

Like Gutfeld and vans, if not for Craigslist I’d never have learned anything about sex.

I frickin’ love craigslist.
I have bought tons of crap a Laptop and even a Van for one of my businesses to name a few items.

I think it would be a good idea to tell the person you are meeting that you are telling a friend about where and when.

Bill’s kungFu is weak.

Prince did not “go after this woman”. He went after YouTube, a multi-million dollar concern that uses videos like this to make tons of money.I’m on his side on this one, YouTube is looking for a free ride, they are the ones taking advantage of the situation. It’s like the nanny-state mentality of the net, people have gotten used to it being “free” when in fact nothing is free.

Must. Change. The. Channel.

Stop with the MKH!

My wife is getting jealous.

“You need to take a friend with you.”

I prefer two friends; Smith and Wesson. Then again, I don’t give too much thought to my own safety.

Stop interrupting her, Bill! She’s one of the smart people.

That was my first thought, too.

Bill O’, even in these little hot air vids, bugs me. I’m conservative, love MKH, love Hot Air, so it’s not that I’m some moonbat. His arrogance, his pontificating, especially when he gets into areas which he doesn’t understand is nearly unbearable. I don’t watch his show; if Fox News could lose him, Geraldo and Greta Van, the network would be greatly improved. Greta Van Sustern is the biggest question mark for me; why does Fox News need a gossip ghoul?

Bill: Oh, that internets is just bad.
MKH: Use common sense when setting meeting places, internet or not.
Bill: Oh, that internets is just bad, killers can use it too.
MKH: CL’s purpose was abused, remember to use commo…
Bill: Interupt We should all stay away from the internet, there’s just so much danger on the internet, everybody needs to wise up about it.

Wising up is what MKH was saying in the first place! Bill O’Rielly appeared to be one step up from dragging his knuckles on the floor regarding this. It was like having an argument about the internet with my grandma.

I agree with you completely!

Don’t hold your breath waiting for Fox News to dump the highest-rated show on cable TV.

Oreilly is to the internet what Nancy Pelosi is to gun owner’s rights. He knows nothing, but thinks he knows it all. He’s dangerous.

Yup, sadly there are an enormous number of people who think that anything that finds it way onto the internet is free for the taking, copyrights be damned. That is a childish and immature attitude which reeks of communism.

You are right about him being ignorant, but I doubt he knows enough to be dangerous, more like amusingly stupid.

Off Topic…..

Has anyone noticed the dope that Bill had to get when MM refused to be party to his BS on Geraldo? I guess shes related to President Hoover?

csdeven on November 1, 2007 at 12:58 PM

I wish Bill would let his quests speak. MKH was not trying to filibuster. She just wasn’t agreeing with Bill’s pre-conceived notion on the subject and he didn’t like it. Now I don’t know if that is because his research team gave him a different take on it, or if he had an agenda that he was pushing and just picked the wrong example to further said agenda. But clearly, MKH is head and shoulders wiser and more knowledgeable than Bill is on things internet.

To each his own. It’s good to have multiple friends.

Bill O reminds me of this Lefty (save the poor dumb animals from evil Mankind! magazines all over the place) Lawyer we had to use for something last year, he didn’t have a computer in his office; his secretary would print out emails and drop then in his “in” basket.

My wife and I did more legwork than our own Lawyer, I created a spreadsheet with my costs and expected settlement amount and he submitted that verbatim to the Insurance company. He got 1/3 for attaching his name to our work. What a country!

Neo on November 1, 2007 at 2:44 PM

Bill lost me when he tried to claim to be the author of the whole “boycott France” thing. To me it was his “inventor of the internet” moment.

TBinSTL on November 1, 2007 at 3:09 PM

I can’t stand O’Reilly. Grates my nerves.
