Here’s a big principle: no Democrats in the White House. How’s that sound for a principle?

Why is party loyalty a principle? When the Republicans are in a race to the bottom with Dems, why is it considered principled to support the Republicans. There is not a chance that I would cast a vote for any Dems this cycle because of the individuals involved, but that is not the same as blindly supporting the other party.
Like Fred’s stance on immigration; good reason to support him.
Think Rudy will bring fiscal responsibility; another solid reason, vote with pride
Supporting Republicans because they are not Democrats; Suicide plain and simple

Give me the name of someone – someone who matters not his moronic acolytes – who honestly cares about Ron Paul and what he brings to the table.

Yeah, this whole Ron Paul thing has been eye-opening. I’ve never had all that much respect for Libertarians, but seeing so many of them, including people I used to think at least marginally rational, get suckered into supporting this foolish man has been depressing.

When you point out that they’ll be throwing their votes away or helping elect Hillary, they hide behind standing up for principles. I like principles. I have principles. Here’s a big principle: no Democrats in the White House. How’s that sound for a principle?

The visionaries of yesteryear are gone and we are left with new age politicians that are really in it for themselves. This is what is being taught in our schools, so don’t expect any bright future. We will soon be consuming our just deserts.

Naturally, in a season of grasping straws, nutjobs like Ronnie will float to the top of the cesspool. God bless America.

He is not electable, but Hillary is. I didn’t believe she was until now. I went to my 87 year old mom’s last night for dinner. She is the same one that told me I would have to go to school on Saturdays if J.F.K. got elected, and if the horn on the car went out or the washing machine broke, it “went democratic” on us. She never voted for any democrat in her whole life, and she spoke positively about how smart Hillay is. My mom has seen alot in her lifetime and is still sharp as a tack. I’m sure she will never vote democratic, but that she even spoke well about Hillary scared the beejesus out of me.

I’m in Raleigh too, but as stated above, it’s mostly a small nut fringe that are putting signs up this early. Not worried. Although that Ron Paul banner on the overpass on 40 toward Chapel Hill is interesting…with it’s:

I don’t deny that, but he is perceived as the only sincere big time changer on the Republican side (like it or not).

A lot of folks don’t like the welfare state, open borders, and percieved “impetuous” U.S. military activity, and are sick of the MSM and the US government pushing taxpayers in a ultra liberal direction.

I can understand it, and it is a sad testiment to the status quo.

Well, the only campaign signs I am seeing in Phoenix right now are Ron Paul signs. And I see a lot of them.

In my super-lefty suburb of lefty Cleveland, the only campaign bumper stickers I see are:

KERRY/EDWARDS

Seriously, I’ll see 12 to 20 a day. I’ve seen one Obama sticker, and zero of any current candidate. And one geek teenager on the mothership, I mean bus, had a Kucinich button on his backpack.

Same here in Raleigh, NC! I have seen a smattering of Romney signs, but way more Ron Paul ones. EGADS!

Don’t sweat it. Seriously. You see a lot of Ron Paul signs on the street for the same reason you see a lot of Code Pink signs at press conferences — a highly motivated core of lunatic-fringe wackos, desperately trying to convince themselves and others that they matter.

The electorate is, by and large, ignorant and stupid, but they can smell a looney a mile off. Just like Perot, Ron Paul poses a threat only as a 3rd-party spoiler. If and when it gets to that point, I suggest Mr. Paul use all his donations for private security. Not that I’m encouraging anyone to hunt him down. No, certainly not. That would be a darn shame.

I hear they faked the moon landing so we can cover up the invation of Mars.

True story, Halloween night I was told by a family member that the moon landing conspiracy had re-emerged and was making its rounds in the lunacy circles of the Alex Jones Kool-Aid drinkers. He was told by someone in his family who is stricken with the delusions and is a Ron Paul supporter and 911 twoofer as well. I felt I had info right off the press,
