Go figure, huh?
Someone complained in one of the Alex Jones threads earlier this week that we’re spending too much time on Ron Paul. I feel compelled to call attention to this stuff, but I have to admit that the collected creepiness of his supporters is getting depressing. Maybe it’s time for a moratorium.
We can always revisit the subject if and when he passes Stephen Colbert in the polls. Click the image to watch.

So, essentially, one loon is endorsing another loon.

Gotta love the crucifix in the background. /s
I wondered through the whole clip: where’s his wife?
inviolet on November 1, 2007 at 11:33 PM
Oops. Google is my friend. Apparently his wife has passed. Sorry about that.

Wrong, dead wrong. Ron Paul cannot win, a vote for Paul is a wasted vote!!!
We must keep the socialists out of power. If the socialists gain the Admin, Judicial, Senate and House you can kiss our freedom goodbye, well almost.
This is the most important election of basic freedom in the history of the United States. Bill Clinton won his first election because of a rouge Republican, we must learn from that lesson, Paul MUST drop out. Ron Paul MUST drop out for the sake of our childrens future.

Well, the only campaign signs I am seeing in Phoenix right now are Ron Paul signs. And I see a lot of them.
bnelson44 on November 2, 2007 at 12:01 AM
Well,normally grandfather,or father does know
best, but with this situation, don’t think so.
Was the Vote Revolution phrase a code word for
Ron Paul moonbats, and is that phrase a call to
arms, did anybody tell Ron Paul supporters that
the real enemy is on the otherside of the world.

The Ugly American on November 2, 2007 at 12:08 AM
He and his loon followers were funny for a while.
I don’t think they’e funny at all any more. They are a part of the problem, what with his lunatic fringe nad then the Evangelicals splittting off votes from the GOP, they are just mucking it up enough for those two criminals from Arkansas to get another chance to loot the WH.

Makes sence, The Holocaust was faked to get us into WWII, 9-11 was faked to get us into Iraq, and now I hear they faked the moon landing so we can cover up the invation of Mars.

It was not Ralph Nader nor his supporters fault that the Democrats lost in 2000, It was the fault of those Democrats who nominated Al Gore.
The same rules still apply.

Same here in Raleigh, NC! I have seen a smattering of Romney signs, but way more Ron Paul ones. EGADS!
SouthernGent on November 2, 2007 at 1:35 AM
Who was the Republican presidential candidate in 1992 who wore rouge?
slp on November 2, 2007 at 1:53 AM
True story, Halloween night I was told by a family member that the moon landing conspiracy had re-emerged and was making its rounds in the lunacy circles of the Alex Jones Kool-Aid drinkers. He was told by someone in his family who is stricken with the delusions and is a Ron Paul supporter and 911 twoofer as well. I felt I had info right off the press,
MirCat you really are up to date on things. :)
abinitioadinfinitum on November 2, 2007 at 2:13 AM
Don’t sweat it. Seriously. You see a lot of Ron Paul signs on the street for the same reason you see a lot of Code Pink signs at press conferences — a highly motivated core of lunatic-fringe wackos, desperately trying to convince themselves and others that they matter.
The electorate is, by and large, ignorant and stupid, but they can smell a looney a mile off. Just like Perot, Ron Paul poses a threat only as a 3rd-party spoiler. If and when it gets to that point, I suggest Mr. Paul use all his donations for private security. Not that I’m encouraging anyone to hunt him down. No, certainly not. That would be a darn shame.
Splashman on November 2, 2007 at 4:45 AM
Oh yeah — some folks are wondering why Hillary’s using the “Debate Bullies” to push for more donations, when she’s already sitting on a huge pot. I’ll tell ya why: she has to finance her own campaign and Ron Paul’s 3rd-party run, too. She’ll pay in yen.
Splashman on November 2, 2007 at 4:53 AM
In my super-lefty suburb of lefty Cleveland, the only campaign bumper stickers I see are:
KERRY/EDWARDS
Seriously, I’ll see 12 to 20 a day. I’ve seen one Obama sticker, and zero of any current candidate. And one geek teenager on the mothership, I mean bus, had a Kucinich button on his backpack.

Okay, I am beginning to catch on.
►Fire does not melt steel
►The earth is flat
►No Jews were slaughtered in WWII
►The U.S. planned and executed 9-11
►The only hope for America is Ron Paul

Doesn’t he live in Australia? Did he pick the whole family up and move there after winning Jeopardy?

Hey Hutton – if you’re wanting to tell Mel (one of your children) I saw him last night – in a bar in Bali. You might want to wait until noon however – I suspect he needs a little time to get his land legs again.

Sugar Tits For Ron Paul!
Hilts on November 2, 2007 at 9:13 AM
Lets face it, there are a whole lot of people that are not happy with the candidates we have. People sense rough waters ahead, and none of these people stir confidence in anyone that they are up to the task.
You have to be different to be better, and Ron Paul is seen as different, and many voters want change in a big way. Ron Paul looks like the only one that means business on big time change because there are no other serious changers in the mix.
saiga on November 2, 2007 at 9:23 AM
Ron Paul is a class A-1 nutjob.
Hilts on November 2, 2007 at 9:24 AM
I don’t deny that, but he is perceived as the only sincere big time changer on the Republican side (like it or not).
A lot of folks don’t like the welfare state, open borders, and percieved “impetuous” U.S. military activity, and are sick of the MSM and the US government pushing taxpayers in a ultra liberal direction.
I can understand it, and it is a sad testiment to the status quo.
saiga on November 2, 2007 at 9:49 AM
Why do I get the snicking suspicion that Soros may be bankrolling this aPAULing nitwit?
leanright on November 2, 2007 at 10:08 AM
Enough! It’s RON PAUL! Who cares?!
Who perceives Paul as “the only sincere big time changer”?
Really? Are you sure?
Give me the name of someone – someone who matters not his moronic acolytes – who honestly cares about Ron Paul and what he brings to the table.
woodman on November 2, 2007 at 10:10 AM
I’m in Raleigh too, but as stated above, it’s mostly a small nut fringe that are putting signs up this early. Not worried. Although that Ron Paul banner on the overpass on 40 toward Chapel Hill is interesting…with it’s:
Ron Paul rEVOLution (The backward LOVE in red.) What idiot thought of THAT??
tickleddragon on November 2, 2007 at 10:12 AM
Sorry, sneaking not snicking. Message remains the same.
leanright on November 2, 2007 at 10:14 AM
The neo-nazis do. So does Mel Gibson’s daddy.
saiga on November 2, 2007 at 10:46 AM
You should’t worry so much about Ron Paul, it is Hillary that is the bigger threat to taxpayers. Think about how lame the Republican debates would be without him kicking the bee hive and stoking up the others.
He is not electable, but Hillary is. I didn’t believe she was until now. I went to my 87 year old mom’s last night for dinner. She is the same one that told me I would have to go to school on Saturdays if J.F.K. got elected, and if the horn on the car went out or the washing machine broke, it “went democratic” on us. She never voted for any democrat in her whole life, and she spoke positively about how smart Hillay is. My mom has seen alot in her lifetime and is still sharp as a tack. I’m sure she will never vote democratic, but that she even spoke well about Hillary scared the beejesus out of me.
saiga on November 2, 2007 at 10:55 AM
The American public much like the proverbial sleeping Giant, is awakening to the effects of a one party system, a global economy, and the fact that no one is at the helm. The greatest country on Earth is being forced to “average down” and it’s going to be extremely painful.
The visionaries of yesteryear are gone and we are left with new age politicians that are really in it for themselves. This is what is being taught in our schools, so don’t expect any bright future. We will soon be consuming our just deserts.
Naturally, in a season of grasping straws, nutjobs like Ronnie will float to the top of the cesspool. God bless America.
(and bye the bye, we should have paid a little attention to what that “Nutjob” Perot had to say about foriegn trade. Ya think?)
Ernest on November 2, 2007 at 10:56 AM
Yeah, this whole Ron Paul thing has been eye-opening. I’ve never had all that much respect for Libertarians, but seeing so many of them, including people I used to think at least marginally rational, get suckered into supporting this foolish man has been depressing.
When you point out that they’ll be throwing their votes away or helping elect Hillary, they hide behind standing up for principles. I like principles. I have principles. Here’s a big principle: no Democrats in the White House. How’s that sound for a principle?
Kensington on November 2, 2007 at 12:32 PM
Why is party loyalty a principle? When the Republicans are in a race to the bottom with Dems, why is it considered principled to support the Republicans. There is not a chance that I would cast a vote for any Dems this cycle because of the individuals involved, but that is not the same as blindly supporting the other party.
Like Fred’s stance on immigration; good reason to support him.
Think Rudy will bring fiscal responsibility; another solid reason, vote with pride
Supporting Republicans because they are not Democrats; Suicide plain and simple
