I agree. The boundaries are blurring, slowly, but THE SOUTH is still the south, and it is much different than the rest of the country. Will change with continued migration TO the south, but for now it is its own unique area in my opinion, with its own “tastes” politically.

There are no geographical boundaries as to which areas are “blue” or “red” anymore; the Internet and cable/satellite news sources have so homogenized our culture that it is no longer possible to rely on what “The South” will do, whether or not “they” would elect a woman, or a Catholic, or whatever.
Future elections will show an even more pronounced departure from the ‘old’ geographical political truths. Our kids will create their own.

Looking at the current polls, though, the GOP ticket that makes the most sense from a purely electoral point of view may be Thompson-Giuliani.

That is the single stupidest thing I have ever read on hot air. To think that Freddie would be the front end of any ticket is utter gobsmocking nonsense. Then to put that poser at the top of the ticket. What are you smoking? He is a lobbyist, terrorist lawyer, tort attorney that has never accomplished anything of note.

Trying to hijack another thread because of your csdeven derangement syndrome I see. Well, that’s to expected from groupies who are so vacuous in reasoning that the only thing they are loyal to is the voices in their heads. You lose again fool.

The facts are the facts. “What’s a dollar?” gave advice to terrorists and lobbied for scum. He was a man whore and bragged about it. Because conservatives are supposed to take the moral high road, and Fred refused to do so, that makes him a traitor to the faith, so to speak. We expect Hillary to lie and cheat but not from a conservative.

Fred is scum and is the least qualified or electable candidate on either side.

Deal with that if you can. But we all know you cannot/will not.

Compared to Fred, Hillary looks like a saint.

I swear, the Democrats use certain words because they resonate with their electorate. “Bush”, “Failed”, “Haliburton”, “diplomacy” are but a few of these words. I think there should be a bell that’s chimed every time one of these words is spoken during the debate.

You are right to point out the Democrats are running against president Bush who isn’t up for reelection. The candidates are capitalizing on the BDS their constituents are afflicted with.

Senator Hillary is already known for being a big lefty. This should surprise no one.
