A governer is the chief executive of a very large organization, and in some ways is the president of a small country. They are responsible for choosing agency heads, judges, and developing a budget. They have to answer when things go wrong. A senator sits on committees, gives speeches, votes, and blames things on the executive.

A senior Senator maybe, but I have stuff in tupperware in my fridge that’s been there longer than Obama’s been on the hill.

If that was true, we’d be dead already. Really, are any of his qualifications any less than Jew-hater Jimmuh Carter’s were? Far as I can tell, they probably aren’t, unless maybe you count Jimmuh’s time in the Navy.

Obama is articulate and clean, but is a stone liberal and would destroy this country as fast as Hillary would.

RACIST! While that’s all true that he’s as much a liberal nut as Hill, Obama is much less capable than Hillary, he also doesn’t have the Clinton machine behind him.

Beyond that is the experience factor, the entire GOP field has more experience, which is a HUGE plus, and yeah, I’m going back to this again, remember the Cheney/Silky debate?

Cheney ain’t exactly charismatic or even likeable guy (though I like the curmudgeon), but he stomped Silky and showed everyone what a lightweight he was in that debate, and it definitely hurt the Carry/Silky campaign a bit.

With all due respect, I don’t know why you think debate performance should move polls, or why any poll movement would be linked to debates. What percent of the electorate actually watches the debate? 1%? 2%? Even if half of the people watching all of a sudden change their opinion of a candidate, then the movement would be so small as to be undetectable in any polls.

Who won? I did, because I didn’t watch a single minute of it.
