Righty bloggers file complaint asking FEC to investigate Hillary’s Chinatown donations

posted at 11:20 am on October 31, 2007 by Allahpundit

Like a sporadically wise blogger once said, neither the media nor the other campaigns have an incentive to do this which means it’s up to the feds. Time to do your jobs, boys.

In addition to the aforementioned evidence, it is worth noting that the Hillary Clinton for President Committee has clearly decided to take no action to remedy these violations. According to the New York Post, “The Clinton campaign dismissed the L.A. Times story as derogatory to Chinese-Americans.”

Accordingly, the Clinton campaign’s disinterest in and failure to remedy these violations along with the potential scope of the abuse indicates that that the Commission should investigate and take action against those responsible for violation of the law.

Here’s the background in the unlikely event that you missed it when this story detonated. Exit question: What exciting new hyperethnic variation on “Maglalang” will a grumpy Keith Olbermann come up with to deflect attention from this story?

Maybe he’ll just say it with his head in its proper place to try and make it sound more ominous with the echo.

He’ll call her a racist against Chinese people, in order to show that irony truly has no limits.

Oh Yeah! Game on! I can’t wait to read the Kos comments on this one.

Obviously, Olberdunce will say it’s a plot to exterminate Chinese dishwashers.

Enter the “vast right-wing conspiracy” tag line by Clinton.

What a witch.

Stupid. We should save all our shots for the general election. If I had to pick a democrat for president, she’d be my first choice. If by some miracle she loses the primary and Mullah Hussein Osama or, Darwin forbid, that moron, Edwards, wins then we’re really screwed.

Darth Executor on October 31, 2007 at 11:40 AM

Oh, puh-leeze! The FEC?

Hey, maybe they’ll gum her to death, in about 20 years or so.

mojo on October 31, 2007 at 11:40 AM

My first thought was ‘go get the bitch’ but it ain’t gonna’ happen.

The FEC is about as useless as the UN!

I disagree. She’s their only serious contender. I’d much rather face Obama or Edwards in the general.

So would I but that’s not the only issue.

1. Liberals won’t care about this scandal. The MSM won’t give it enough coverage (if at all) and if by chance they see it on a right wing blog they’ll just assume it’s BS. It won’t touch her at all in the primary.
2. The people that WILL care are the moderates and the conservatives. The latter don’t matter but the former do. If she’s blasted with scandals during the general election she’s gonna take a popularity hit with a group that actually matters.
3. While Obama and Edwards would be easier to defeat, they’d also be a worse disaster than Hillary if one of them wins.
4. By blasting it now, by the time the general election comes around, it’ll be “old news” and nobody will care about it anymore.

I’m of the opinion that as much dirt as possible on all democratic candidates should be kept sealed until the general election, and then released one at a time, spread out throughout that campaign up to voting day. Blast it all at once and people will think “hit job”. Keep it slow and consistend and people will start viewing her in a negative light.

Timing the questioning leads to questioning the timing.

Break stories when they break, or you’re no better than they are with their stupid ‘October Surprise’ crap.

I hate to sound like a negative Nabob, but Hillary will probably walk away unscathed.

History shows us the only way to make a case stick against a powerful politician is if people from both parties back the charges. It is fortunate for democrat politicians that republicans have a higher moral expectations from there politicians. When a republican like Duke Cunningham commits a crime republicans and democrats alike are quick to bring him down. (rightly so)

When democrats commit felonies or misdemeanors The democrats rally around him so it is only people of the opposite party condemning him. This makes it look like a politically motivated witch hunt. So the perpetrator invariably walks.

Also Hillary’s husband has packed the bench around the country with lefty drone judges whom also are loathe to hurt Hillary. For proof of this see peterfpaul.com

She’ll scream Vast rightwing conspiracy to cover up her vast Chinese communist conspiracy and her minion will follow her to hell.

Keep it slow and consistent and people will start viewing her in a negative light.

Alas, Conservatives don’t have a media machine capable of doing that, only the dims have that power.
Evidence:
Iraq..
The economy..
Anytime a Republican;
calls a hooker
taps their foot
or steps on a spider.

Agreed, buton the other hand, can you imagine the horror of being in on her bust! Er, so to speek.

leanright on October 31, 2007 at 1:43 PM

Spell check? I don’t see no stinking spell check.

leanright on October 31, 2007 at 1:48 PM

Hillary will walk away unscathed, the MSM won’t cover it, this administration will not investigate it, one way or another millions of illegal aliens will vote her into the White House come November 2008 and America,as we know it, will disappear from the globe forever.
