Agreed, but let’s just for a moment imagine the outrage had someone shown up at O’Reilly’s signing during the whole Mackris situation shoving a microphone in his face asking for comment on why he he would do such a inappropriate thing when he is trying to sell a book for kids.

He would have not only had them thrown out, he would have had security remove the film from their camera.

At least she was civil. And you are right, people who dislike him or think he is a ridiculous megalamanic will buy her book.

As usual he is only drawing attention to someone who doesn’t deserve it, I do not know why he continues to do this time and time again. She is not the first.

First, as others have posted, these ambushes for the most part should be avoided. So O’Reilly starts out negative. Rosie gets major points for making the manager stop putting his hand in front of the camera and actually talking to the guy. She loses points, of course, for her denial that, though technically true, was still spin. If O’Reilly’s guy had asked the right question by quoting from the start exactly what Rosie had said instead of interpreting what she obviously meant by her comments, I might have given the round to O’Reilly, depending upon how Rosie reacted. She’s a seasoned performer and has had plenty of experience with hecklers.

Overall, O’Reilly would do well to stay away from someone like Rosie, instead of showing her at a book signing and maybe helping her sell books.

Who cares about her, she has no power, her fans are a bunch of left leaning Long Island housewives and theater people who know nothing and care very little about politics. In the broad septrum scheme of things she’s really a nobody.

I would rather see O’Reilly confront Ron Paul who has some clout as another poster suggested, or that wackjob king of the truthers, the one who confronted Danny B.

It is appropriate to approach someone in this way if they are holding themselves aloof from the media while making comments designed to effect the debate.

The same could be said about Bill O’Reilly who during the whole Andrea Mackris debacle had a book for children, “The O’Reilly Factor For Kids”, coming out at the same time.

It’s kind of ridiculous when the person doing the “going after” is a hypocrite who was caught lying with a tape of what he said somewhere out there just waiting to be heard.

What I also see is the sound of silence that it left when she departed. The stories you want to see covered were best stated when she guest hosted or was a guest of Bill’s. Michelle gave a voice to those very stories. Michelle also had a platform on the highest cable news program. What other conservative blogger/blog owner, author and columnist can you think of that had that? Her appearances infuriated the left. They just don’t have that kind of platform. Michelle gave credibility to all of the bloggers. Michelle gave credibility to the conservative movement.

Michelle still appears on other programs, but it just isn’t the same.

I wish they could privately work this out, but I won’t hold my breath. We need Michelle on the airwaves.

Now watch carefully when Rosie the “Blimp”, “Whale” etc. tries to walk and chew gum (or is it her cud) at the same time. She has to stop to chew and take a breath.

Is it McCarthyesque to go after people who make a living by lying and villifying others. I do not think so.

Some of the comments sound like little kids in school “Oh! look what little Johnny did, lets tell on him” I wouldn’t be surprised if a number of posters were Demonrats writing between laughing hysterically at the holier than thou comments about big bad O’Reilly.

Don’t worry about the Fairness Doctrine, we conservatives will make O’Reilly conform to what we think he should do.

The past few weeks of the Big OR sideshow has only proven to me that Bill is the one out of control. Visions of grandeur/way above the little folk? Did anyone note tonight that he challenged Judge Napolitano on law? It’s become a chore to keep changing channels and decide to give it one more chance, only to change it again. Flipping back, decided it was better to watch just about anything other than the “ahem” bloviator. He is getting nasty and needs no guests – only time to hear himself. Why does he bother to have guests, and now sending out the FOX stormtroopers to catch on tape anyone that is clearly in need of some type of therapy?

I agree, he really needs to stop being such a high-hatted self-lauding bore who cherry picks his stories.

Point in check, he never covered the YAF at MSU inviting Holocaust denier Nick Griffin to speak last week. For someone who touts himself as being a fair and balanced Independent and blew it. He is turning into a major idealougue like Hannity and Olbermann. They cherry pick their stories, we expect it from them, they have never presented themselves as balanced independents, they’re both loons and we all know it.

O’Reilly needs to stop, he really is becoming his own worst enemy. If I tune in to hear an alleged Independent voice, that’s what I want and expect to hear.

I was especially disappointed that he chose not to report about the YAF, which is apparantly a pack of Far Right Wing nutjob loons that the college Republicans up there want nothing to do with. I guess Bill is afraid.

The man has some superiority complex, Michelle is better off far away from that show and him. He is really out of control.

Exactly what the moonbats over at HuffPost said when Max Blumenthal did it to Michelle. And what they were dying to see happen to O’Reilly during his fall from grace.

It’s inappropiate behavior all around, entertainment for the hateful and childish.

I thought it was disgusting when Michelle was ambushed by Max Blumentahl at C-PAC. There is really no place in America for this kind of behavior.

And in Bill’s case I feel if you do it it will evidently be done to you, karma is a boomerang. But Bill is the type who cannot handle it when it is done to him.
