The funniest Star Wars humor is usually the simplest. This is nothing but a sight gag strung out to eight minutes, but it had me in hysterics, at least for the first 90 seconds. What makes it work is the letter-perfect recreation of the costumes and set. You’re in the honest-to-goodness Star Wars universe — except, in the blink of an eye, you’re not.
After the initial shock the script writes itself. But stick with it. Part three has its moments.

He’s an actor, he just does what the script says. It’s not his fault Vader had to be whiny, it’s Lucas’s fault.
