If only our government would turn loose the available means of deterring enemies from contemplating future aggression against our lands, possessions, and allies. For the Dingy Harrys out there, we can very easily conquer anyone we choose to, if only we don’t concern ourselves with political correctness.

And to correct the recurring question of whether we can win in Iraq, we have already won in Iraq. We remain in occupation there waiting for the Iraqi people to decide that they really want to win, as well, by actually taking the final steps necessary to purge their soil of insurgents/terrorists and take care of themselves. Our only troubles come from trying to prove that we’re NIIIIICE. We don’t need to be nice, we liberated a country, and they aren’t doing enough to help us clean out the remaining evil element. Nice must come to an end.

Although I have always despised Chamblerain I don’t think he is as bad as contemporary appeasers.

For one thing he was acting on the wishes of the British people and they disgraced themselves by voting out the Conservatives in 1945 to “punish” them for enacting a policy they demanded. Atlee went on to squander Britain’s Marshall Aid on a socialist welfare state.

For another thing he technically started WWII by declaring war on Germany (hows that for a warmonger?) after the invasion of Poland.

In my mind he was a foolish old man who deluded himself and others but not as bad as the appeasers of today who simply don’t register the September 11th attacks and other terrorist attacks as fundamental onslaughts against Western civillisation.

Picture if you will a small speck on the horizon near a freighter, suddenly there is a loud explosion, smoke drift in front of the camera, has it clears you see a splash of sea water, you hear great boisterous cheers from near by, and you notice the speck is gone (fade to black).
How’s that?
