Video: Michelle on Hillary’s dirty donations and Spitzer’s IDs for illegals

It’s red meat for brunch for our west coast readers. Most of the segment is devoted to Hillary’s Chinatown cash cow, which ought to give our pal Olby an opportunity to roll out another of his “accidental” hyperethnic Vulfervitz-ish mispronunciations. Instead of Maglagong, how about Maglachang this time, KO? Maglachungking? Let it all hang out.

They tack on a few seconds of banter about the IDs. No disrespect to Bret Baier, but there’s one newsman in particular I’d like to see MM discuss this topic with and it ain’t him.

Alas, it’ll never happen.

Hello is right. Why are we advertising ways to help terrorism. It’s like handing out pamphlets on how to kill more Americans. It really is that simple.

As one of your Left Coast readers, Allah, I was looking forward to a red-meat brunch. Sadly, I cannot seem to bring up the video of my personal favorite blogger!

Oops! Never mind. It just came up.

How a Rosie-esque “Maglachingchong”?

Man, MM is so prepared, rattling off a list of names that I would bet 99% of the “reporters” she talks with have no idea about.

Hillary Clinton fundraising scandal has a Utah connection
Campaign refunds $9,200 donated by a Salt Lake City couple
By Thomas Burr

The Salt Lake Tribune
Article Last Updated: 10/27/2007 12:45:55 AM MDT

WASHINGTON – The campaign finance scandal triggered by a federal fugitive raising funds for the Hillary Clinton presidential campaign has a Utah connection.

Clinton’s campaign has refunded $9,200 donated by Salt Lake City couple James and Sherlene Dean. Their contribution was among the $850,000 refunded because of the connection with fundraiser Norman Hsu.

Hsu was arrested and charged as a scam artist who allegedly bilked investors out of $60 million.
He had been a fugitive for 15 years.
Hsu’s company, Components Limited – which federal

prosecutors say was a front for a Ponzi scheme – once paid a company controlled by the Deans, The New York Times reported this month, citing bank records obtained by the newspaper.

The Deans donated the maximum amount, $4,600 each, for Clinton’s campaign in June.
Neither had given money to another federal candidate in the last six election cycles.
Sherlene Dean registered to vote last year as a Republican.

Hello! It’s insane.

Anyone else hoping she’d use the line from Zoolander: “I feel like I’m taking crazy pills!”

I am sure that the MSM would be decrying racism if this were a GOP Senator

Chertoff needs to be fired. He is a disgrace and a fool on top of it.

pat on October 28, 2007 at 4:23 PM

Perfect as usual. Immigration may, just may be the hot button topic of the 2008 election.

Zorro on October 28, 2007 at 4:42 PM

The buck should not stop at lettuce-head, as much as I’ve supported GW all these years the fact that Chertoff is still disgracing himself gives me more than a little pause.

bbz123 on October 28, 2007 at 4:44 PM

Remember Chertoff came from the Rudy admin. Again more reasons why I dont support Rudy for the nomination

Was that the same couple who said they donated through the husband’s boss, that he told them they would be reimbursed, and they were?

More on Sherlene Dean, from the New York Times 10/17.

Bank records for Components, for example, show that it once paid a company controlled by a Salt Lake City couple, James and Sherlene Dean, who contributed $9,200 to Mrs. Clinton in June; the campaign refunded the money last month.
The Deans declined to comment

Bill’s problem was sex. Hilary’s is money.

This country not only seems to breed left wing suicide voters, but also has become impotent when it comes to breeding leaders. If Hilary Clinton manages to lie, cheat and murder her way into the presidency, that is the best and brightest this great country has to offer?

We all know, and so do her close supporters that she and her so-called husband are whores. Yet, this is who is the front runner. It’s sickening, and a very negative indicator of what our Republic is producing to vie for the office of Commander and Chief.

I can only imagine the racial epithets Michelle has to endure for her no prisoners approach to journalism. She’s sharp, timely, pithy, and to the point. She doesn’t spin or sandbag the issue.

She’s a rarity these days.

She is one very sharp lady, how FOX news could give Geraldo his own show (despite his false apology) and not see the jewel Michelle is, is beyond my understanding!

Connie on October 28, 2007 at 5:07 PM

No that is from the OTHER scandel the Chinatown donations. I know hard to keep Hillary’s affairs straight more less Bill’s

Could the dinosaur media be any more blatant in NOT covering this story?

Bill’s problem was sex. Hilary’s is money.

Not quite. Sex and money may be symptoms, but the real addiction is power. And our country has come to a place where they are perfectly positioned to exploit the difference between people.

But we have only ourselves to blame.

sweeper on October 28, 2007 at 7:15 PM

BTW, MM’s analysis is so dead on that it amazes me that there is any real disagreement.

New York and New Jersey. Home of the stupidest voters in the U.S.

So good to see MM on Fox again. Who needs BO?

I have a unique perspective on this issue since I have been in repeat email contact with the authors of the La Times story since the very beginning of Hsu matter.

I can state without equivocation that it is not racially motivated. They were doing exactly the same thing I was.

Rather than troll through the online version of the FEC data base which only allows specific types of queries to the data, we downloaded the entire FEC data base and imported it into spreadsheet and free standing data bases to allow generation of statistics and pattern analysis.

None of this can be done with the online access capability.

Simply what was done is compare donation patterns from prior year averages by zip code or metropolitan statistical areas or however you want to break it down and you are looking for variations from average behavior of the past.

Those searches of the data were totally ethnic neutral. It is not until after you detect an abnormal variation that you then even take a look at who was doing the donations.

That is why for example it is noted in the La Times article that the Chinatown money was picked up as a variation in which in a small area Hillary raked in 380,000 versus Kerry over the entire campaign cycle gathering only 24,000.

Also it is important to note that over 90% of this money was raised at a single fundraiser event. Donations outside the event have been near historic norms and patterns even for the Chinatown area. If you look at the donations outside the event itself not surprisingly you find a high incidence of verifiable person/address existence and job descriptions that would reasonably support the level of donation associated with donation provided. Also the vast majority of those other donations were well below the maximum amounts.

CommentGuy on October 28, 2007 at 8:32 PM

So what I am trying to get across here is that the idea of ethnic profiling that many are screaming about is simply a canard.

In this case the donors self selected themselves by their abnormal donations. The issue that they were Asians was not germane to their detection , the money was and the pattern of donations.

I will also note that there are other areas being explored as a type this that have similar donation pattern issues and yes some of them are Asian communities in other areas of the country.

It really needs to be explained that the pattern analysis drove the selections NOT the racial makeup of the donors.

Great work MM. Payback from the Chinese for the free stuff Hitlery’s other half gave them while in office.

If this is only tied to the Chinese check the little pinky fingers of many of the males present, and if they are shorter than normal there is another connection with the orientals. The Japanese “Yakazu”.

How many M13 members need a bro out of the can? Watch and read the tats when in Hispanic communities.

ctmom, NY and NJ do indeed have clueless voters. However, if I am reading your name right, I must say that during my years in CT., that state put all others to shame when it came to corruption. And while most of NJ political follies were Dems (Mcgreavy, Toricelli et al) CT’s were mainly Reps (Bridgeport, Waterbury, Governor etc)
He or She who lives in glass houses and all that.
BTW, NYC is indeed a sanctuary city for illegals, but leave it up to New Haven to one up and become a paradise city for illegals.

sweeper on October 29, 2007 at 8:32 AM

“Yes, there’s a small chance that some illegal alien with a NY driver’s license will use it to turn a plane into a missile, but the price of lettuce will remain the same” said Michael Chertoff to no one in particular.

i want to see documents reflecting hillary’s return of 850,000, and why her vetting of hsu turned up nothing. this claim is ridiculous!! hsu has a 12 year warrant for his arrest. you and i knew this, why wouldnt the secret service know about these criminals.

rpower57 on October 29, 2007 at 8:41 AM

Dead on. Also, I want to know everything about his finances. I know the connection and the fraud that he was originaaly convicted of, but what about now? Where is all this money coming from? It’s not Hsu so who is he fronting for? Is it payback or a downpayment?
And while we are at it, what did Vinod Gupta get for his money to the Clintons?
I hate sounding like a conspiracy theorist when it comes to these bottom feeders, but if the Federal government is willing to spend untold millions to investigate why Armitage told reporters about Joe Wilson’s wife, why can’t they ever get to the bottom of why a sitting Senator is taking money from illegal Chinese immigrants?
