Miller Beer’s apologized for the Last Supper parody poster, Donohue acknowledges, but what about the sex toys in the shape of crucifixes? Are they cool with that? What about the Church’s anti-gay rhetoric, retorts editor Fred Kuhr? Are they cool with that? They don’t have the right to mock my religion, replies Donohue (erroneously). Do you know what kind of hate mail I got the last time I was on with you, says Kuhr? Do you know what kind of hate mail I get all the time, counters Donohue? At which point they segue into a brief debate about how much of a loser Kuhr is before Doocy rings the bell.

Donohue does get off a killer line, though. You’ll know it when you hear it.

Donohue is a belligerent moron that is fodder for people who try to compare Islamic violence with Catholic dogma. He only hurts his own cause.

I totally disagree! The man is taking a stand against real evil and law breakers! He is also displaying some real courage! The gay defender was flinching! I am not going to be so quick to pick apart every little word of a man that has chosen to actually get into the battle and pay a price. The homosexual movement is dangerous to America and the tactics they use against average Americans is pure Fascist! If more people stepped out and were as willing to take a stand as this man is we would be a lot better off!

Being attracted to the same sex is not a sin, but acting upon that attraction is in the Catholic Church.

that is not what you said originally:

Meanwhile, same sex attraction is dealt with as a sin in Catholicism for the laity,

Donahue is a grumpy old conservative Catholic. Kind of like me.

Isn’t it funny how people that read things into a post that they want to believe follow that up with taking a part of the post and taking it out of context?

Read the entire portion of my post (below) regarding Catholic priests who are homosexual and sin by having sex with other men (sometimes other priests), and then add the part how same sex attraction is considered a sin for the laity. Would “same sex attraction including anal sex” make it clearer for you tizzie?

I am not using same sex attraction as in the buzz phrase (as in “I am attracted to my same sex, but am working on not offending God and humiliating myself by letting that passion lead me to sins of the flesh”). I am using it like in the topic of this thread which is men having sex with other men. Men having sex with other men is a sin in most Christian denominations including the Catholic Church. Using the term “same sex attraction” for men ramming man parts into other men seemed to be a less harsh way of describing it.

— Original point
There seems to be a bizarre dogma in the CC that you can’t have a wife, but keep the homosexual activity downplayed. Rape little boys and see the world. It would seem not allowing married men to be ordained attracts some real screwballs that are tolerated.
