Thank you–I was just about to say that. Shame on you, Sitrep; obviously you don’t know jack about the military or about what it’s like for prisoners of war, especially in extreme circumstances such as McCain’s was. Leave the military talk to the adults. Dick.

I’d say worse about your comments, but I’ll keep it civil here.

I am with Sen. McCain and only when he was released and kissed U.S. soil was I able to remove his POW/MIA bracelet.

Proud to have learned more in the military (USAF retired) than any of the Woodstock loonies learned about the value of human life and that protecting is a more worthy attribute than protesting it.

If you’re going to have museums, they should include stuff that ordinary people can relate to.

Also – like it or not – Woodstock was an American cultural landmark. And no, I haven’t been taking the brown acid.

That’s where they’ve failed nationally. So doom & gloom all you want, but we need to keep our message on focus here: stick to our points, use humor, and remain strong on the issues.

That’s my point here.

Kerry had movies, comedians, celebrities, etc on his side. All the King’s horses and all the King’s men couldn’t get Kerry elected.

Rush was saying people would come out in droves to the polls because they didn’t want to see Speaker Pelosi. Rofl. Maybe if you are a college Republican, but not if you are some soccer mom who worries about taxes, spending, and illegals.

If voting against Hillary is the only, or even the main, motivation that Republicans offer for voters to vote for the Republican nominee, like say Rudy or McCain, then Republicans will almost certainly lose.
If Republicans paint too bad a picture of her, then all she will have to do at the Presidential debates will be to not foam at the mouth to look good by comparison.
Voters will think that Republicans have nothing to offer but fear and “Did you know I was mayor of NYC during 9/11?” and “Did you know I was a POW?.”
Hillary will offer hope (and lots of goodies!!!).
One does not need a crystal ball to figure out the probable outcome.

I wonder if his campaign advisor had to handcuff him and lock him in a closet to prevent him from voting yes, as he almost certainly would’ve wanted to do were he not in a campaign.
