Video: Confidence-inspiring security detail of the day! Update: “[I]ncreasingly Congress is being run by Code Pink”

posted at 3:24 pm on October 24, 2007 by Allahpundit

A little something to cleanse the palate. It’s a good thing Code Pink’s embraced nonviolence because the loon at the beginning here is well within arm’s length of Condi Rice for two or three seconds before the men behind her realize that might not be such a good idea.

Look on the bright side, though. Between the DREAM Act going down and the Beauchamp scoop, it’s been a tough day for the left. This’ll lighten their spirits.

Update: Dana Perino goes for the throat.

Actually that brightens my day even more. I love watching these low-life code pinko commies getting kicked out of hearings. Now THAT’s entertainment !!

Why do they always scream, “What are you doing?” while being removed? They really should know the drill by now, don’t you think?

Fascism! The Constitution guarantees the right for protesters to come within feet of the Secretary of State with blood on their hands! Chimpy McBushitler is just destroying the Constitution!!!!!!!1!

For now at least thank goodness. That was a close one.

I love how Condi chit chats at the end “Great to see you!”

Ugly Fascist friendly hags attack black woman. We have seen that before. Gee, I hope they were not hurt when they were slammed out of the room head first. How about some tasers all around?

RobCon on October 24, 2007 at 3:33 PM

They obviously dress the part before coming into these meetings and nobody stops them?
Their intent is to disrupt the meeting and they’re still allowed to enter the meeting?

This is just too much.

Kini on October 24, 2007 at 3:34 PM

Getting kind of sick of that feigned “I’m being repressed” screams of pain. It’s like taking a fall in soccer to get the opponent a red card. It tarnishes the respect for that sport, and at some point even leftists are going to stop buying into the Gestapo Myth when idiots are tased, bro.

askheaves on October 24, 2007 at 3:36 PM

Police state! Police state! BushCo fascists are suppressing dissent! /sarcasm

Seriously, why do they let these Code Pink people into these meetings? They know they’re going to disrupt.

CP on October 24, 2007 at 3:36 PM

Well they could not have had a weapon and been there. I guess that’s why the lax security. These people should not have been disrupting the proceedings. This wasn’t an ‘audience participation’ event.

ThackerAgency on October 24, 2007 at 3:37 PM

Seriously, why do they let these Code Pink people into these meetings? They know they’re going to disrupt.

The dems keep inviting them. IT serves two purposes it allows the nuts to carry out attacks on republicans without any connection to the democrats

and two it feeds the nuts and gives them a way to vent their hatrid at someone other than dems

infidel4life on October 24, 2007 at 3:47 PM

What a missed opportunity. This Code Pink PMS victim who apparently had gotten her monthly bill early with no hand soap in sight was treated far too gingerly. These hags scream like stuck pigs anyway so you might as well make the most of it. Maybe Bill Maher was right. It is time to kick some ass.

RobCon on October 24, 2007 at 3:47 PM

It would have been freakin’ awesome to see Condi take her security… er, into her own hands, for a second, and punch the crazy woman in the face.

DaveS on October 24, 2007 at 3:49 PM

That is very creepy behavior. Frightening. Someone should lose thier job over that one. I am really losing patience with these screwheads. If the end justifies the means then what aren’t they capable of. They remind me a little to the Mansonettes. Frome style.

Oh, they are. Some have actually tried already. I recall reading about a fella who tried to shoot someone just because he was a Republican. If you google it, I’m sure you can finds lots of examples. Read Kos, or HuffPo, or DU if you can stand it, and you’ll see nothing but hatred ready to boil over.

radjah shelduck on October 24, 2007 at 3:59 PM

ThackerAgency on October 24, 2007 at 3:37 PM

Everything is a weapon: a chair, table, scarf, ring, everything. But a trained individual only needs their hands to kill. If you can touch a person, you can kill them.

Lone Star on October 24, 2007 at 4:00 PM

You know, we really ought to take note of who these people are, and show up at their houses with our own protest.

Give them a taste of how it feels to disrupt their lives.

They can march and shout and do whatever they want in the public square, save for vandalism. (Even that is too much to ask in most cases, it seems.)

But the constant disruption of government meetings, and even now live television programs with the incident on Bill Maher’s show, it all has to stop. Enough is enough. This is unacceptable, and eventually someone is going to get hurt if this is allowed to continue.

Gotta love the far-left. The ends always justify the means.

Hawkins1701 on October 24, 2007 at 4:00 PM

Morons.

Oh and speaking of TaseMeBro: University Of Florida Police Cleared In Use Of Taser On Student.

The report details a campus incident involving Meyer on Sept. 11, a week before the Kerry event, that investigators state shed light on the student’s “mindset.” During the Sept. 11 incident, a groundskeeper reported seeing Meyer argue on campus with supporters of former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani’s presidential bid. The groundskeeper told investigators he heard Meyer tell a friend “if he liked what he had seen … that he should go to the Kerry speech and he would really see a show.”

You have to believe the democrats in congress coordinate this stuff with these freaks. There is no right or law stating these people can come in there in costumes (uniforms, pink shirts instead of brown shirts)with signs. It’s not in the constitution and the committee chairman can instruct the capitol police on what kind of behavior can be demanded. These exhibitions are in collusion with the democrats.

However, few protests have been as dramatic as Wednesday’s, at which protester Desiree Anita Ali-Fairooz screamed at the secretary of State and yelled that the blood “of millions of Iraqis” is on the hands of the administration.

White House spokeswoman Dana Perino, referencing the incident and calling it “despicable,” said it “seems that, increasingly, Congress is being run by Code Pink.”

Extremism is the vice of those that never get laid. Most terrorists are frustrated virgins. Most protesters are frustrated in that department, too. It affects the mind. Makes you a bit on edge. And a bit angry and bitter. Angry and bitter people assume strong political views. And assuming non-conformist views is the natural choice when you are angry.

We need to remind them, of their own mantra, Make Love Not War.

To quote Richard Gear when spoke of the 9/11 hijackers, these people are sick. And they need medication. And the medication they need is love.

What I don’t get is these Code Pinkos talk about non-violence, but when the police rightly grab them up and attempt to remove them, they go all limp and scream as if they’re being tasered. I say …. ‘GO AHEAD AND TASER ‘EM, BRO!’

Passive resistance is not readily detectable to the non-law-enforcement eye, but it’s just as physically compelling as fighting sometimes. That’s why they do that for the cameras so the average Joe will say “hey, why did they man-handle them?… they were being peaceful!” Bullsh**! Try to drag 125 lbs. of dead weight out of a room while the “weight” is grabbing on to passing objects out of the camera’s view.

That being said, I think Condi should have punched her. I know, I know, it’s not a Christian thing to do, and it would be a PR nightmare, but for JUST ONE SECOND if the camera could go out.. MAN OH, MAN, the satisfaction that would bring me!

Let me be the first to defend celibacy on this website. Many celibates lead perfectly normal lives. And we should remember that despite all the hysteria, only a small number of Catholic priest engaged in sexual misconduct.

Also, if we accept your beliefs about terribleness of celibacy, how can we tell teenagers to keep their sexuality to themselves? Your position is anti-family as they say around here.

And for the record, I’m not being sarcastic at all and only my last sentence is meant to have any humor value.

Of course! And if one of these numbnuts gets lucky, look for the Left to rejoice more overtly than those certain Islamists did on 9/11.

By the end of the day, Bush will be deemed ultimately responsible since he promised to be a uniter, not a divider.
