Whether one believes that the Jews are God’s Chosen People or not, the fact that that is the only country in the ME wear hot babes are allowed to wear bikinis instead of being forced to hide in burqas is reason enough to support Israel.

On another note: Neitzsche said “That which does not kill you makes you stronger.” So, given all that the Jews and especially Israeli Jews have been through, why aren’t they all born with red and yellow “S”’s tattooed to their chests?

So all our civilizations, technologies and societies. Taking care of the sick, the injured and the oppressed. Not relieving ourselves in public or mating with anything, alive, dead, animate or inanimate counts for naught. What really distinguishes us from animals is killing them, removing the skin from their dead bodies and wearing it. That makes us human. Cool.

This topic is a lot heavier than the comments would suggest. You may have thought that the women were “dang soooper HAWT”, but there are people who find this kind of thing short-sighted and infantile. I know, “lighten up, Dave!“. Well, this is a serious topic. Firstly, this whole “OMG, XYZ country’s women are the HOTTEST EVAR” thing is so incredibly idiotic. Let me assure you, I have visited a great many countries, and there are smokin’ hot women everywhere. Secondly, this sex-based advertising has a short shelf life, and will backfire big time. It is important that people know that the ad posted here (the particularly bawdy and vulgar one) was NOT made by the Israeli government.

Haha! Oh man, I most definitely did that as well. There are young, hot soldiers everywhere. Seriously. They’re so sweet too…I even got some pictures with them =)

I had the most amazing two weeks of my life in Israel…it was definitely worth saving up for an entire year! I swam in the Mediterranean, the Dead Sea, the Galilee, snorkeled in the Red Sea… I mean…the country is seriously sooo tiny but it has a lot of character. One second you’re in a modern trendy city like Tel Aviv, then you’re in the hills of the ancient Jerusalem, then you’re in the desert (which is actually really beautiful), then you’re in a tropical climate like in the Galilee…It’s pretty much fantastic.

While Michael Vick has been generating lots of search traffic lately, for some reason the Girls of the IDF has been number one. Must be because their men don’t make them wear a tent.

I didn’t view the videos, since the introduction seems to well suggest it’s quasi-porn (that is, women mostly naked cavorting for sensual appeal to sell some product), but, how Christians can be denigrated because they may disagree with this is beyond me.

There’s nothing wrong with respecting chastity and not being promiscuous. A woman cavorting nearly nude isn’t likely to be discouraging sexual overtures, in other words, and most adults can well understand that. Or a male, for that matter, depending on the target audience.

It’s a case of gratuitous advertising. And Israel is not (at all) immune from the sexual predatory appeal factor both among Israelis and Jews elsewhere. I’m not sure I find it very appealing nor inducement to go visit.
