Every single time we speak truth, from Durbin’s comparing Abu Graib to torture camps, to Stark’s point about this war being for Dubya’s sole benefit (since it clearly isnt in the national interest of the country), we get punched in the face by the jackals on the right and in the complicit traditional media, and STILL we dont learn the lesson.

The dem’s internal polls are looking really, really bad. President Bush has a higher approval rating than the dem Congress does — and that’s WITH the main stream media acting as their daily cheerleaders. Hillary’s pollster says 1 in 4 Repub women will vote for her, and the next day Zogby announces that not only do 83% of Repub women say they will NEVER vote for her, 50% of ALL voters say they never will, an increase from previous polls. Nevada is fed up with Dusty Harry. The dems in the House are having extreme buyer’s remorse over their wacky speaker. The ugly truth of the modern democrat party is getting through to “the people,” and Pelosi, et al, are scared as hell. The Stark raving mad comments are going to turn up on one campaign ad after another, and the dems hope to soften the blow by saying “That’s not fair; he apologized, after all.”

The dems used to have a lunatic fringe problem. Now, the lunatic fringe is their center and it’s getting harder and harder to conceal it.
