“I don’t pay too much attention to Mitt Romney,” Mr. Obama said.

He doesn’t get his hands dirty, and he still manages to slap Romney soundly. With class. Hate his politics, but he sure is a smooth operator.

Actually, it’s a common practice in the Luo tribe to refer to individuals by their “middle” name. I should know. (The surname is more like a patronymic in practice.)

I think it’s a bit of a big deal. Getting their names mixed up would be easy enough for anyone to do. But why would Mitt think that Obama would ever call on “radicals, jihadists of all different types, to come together in Iraq”? Getting them confused on that point doesn’t make any sense.

I keep getting them confused myself.

Then I remember: Osama (or Usama, if you prefer) Bin Laden is all muslim and he is dead. Barack Hussein Obama is only half muslim (and half ‘black power pseudo-christian’) and he is alive.

Osama was dirty and smelly before he died. Obama is clean and articulate.

The main thing they have in common, is that they want to turn America into something that no sane person would want.

I hope I go the high road for the most part, but this is a frivolous issue. The only reason it merits a response is to head off the silly leftists from making it into a campaign issue.

And to take the high road here, I remember silly rightists trying to make an issue out of Hilary Clinton joking that she had dealt with evil men before. Ordinary people who aren’t in partisan heat get turned off of politics by this type of nonsense. It hurts our national dialogue.
