A more interesting clip, imo, was his appearance on Bill Maher's show. For instance, when Maher mentioned Putin's "approval rating", his response was that "with the same tight control of the media and pervasive security force, Bush and Cheney could enjoy the same approval rating here."

Wolf is a mixed bag of pathetic leftist and moderate partisan Democrat, and his quoting of the police-state “public opinion poll” was pathetic. Kasparov effortlessly put him in check.

Wolf came back eventually with a short list of opposition and democratic figures who have been assassinated, to his credit.

I seem to recall the stunning irony of Kasparov the Russian airing strongly pro-American comments after hearing the usual conspiracy-fed anti-American leftist tripe from American Bobby Fischer. So it goes.

I thought he would be a typical chess nerd, instead he seems to be very outspoken and lucid. But Putin, being the oligarch he is, would never allow himself to lose an election. Compared to Putin, Amadinejad is just a pimple on Putin’s ass.

Sharp, SHARP guy. He’d have an innumerable amount of enemies if he got elected, but at least he seems to be well aware of the danger of his actions. Looks like he can be a hell of a politician, and might actually spell some good tidings if he can overcome the oh-so-honest polling numbers from the Russian government.
