You’re right, and he has spent the whole year trying to work him into the offense. You might (or not) have noticed that Hester caught the 81 yard touchdown pass to tie the game against Minnesota in the last minute two weeks ago, and he caught a 15 yarder in the winning 97 yard drive Sunday against Philly.

Also, Philly refused to kick or punt anywhere near him, and pooch-kicked to the 35 or 40 all day, giving the Bears an estimated additional 105 yards of field position. But he didn’t score, so I guess it worked.

I can’t imagine why ESPN picked Kornheiser over Wilbon. Wrong choice. But not as bad as NBC using Olbermook.

The Jags are extremely well-coached.

Jack Del Rio is a passionate coach, who is intense, and is a great motivator. He wants to win, and he wants to win badly. He is great at creating complex defensive schemes against the Colts.

Jacksonville is not going away at all. They will continue
to remain one of the top 5-6 teams in the NFL. Their defense is suffocating, and very stingy.

Great game.

I love the Colts!!

Your Houston Texans are a lot better than their record suggests.

They have an up-and-coming quarterback. They are capable of putting up 29 points in a single quarter, like they did against Tennessee last week.

I just got off the phone with my dad. We both agreed that the AFC South is the toughest division. All the teams are playoff-caliber teams.

If Houston was in a different division, they would be an easy pick to make the playoffs.

Too bad the Bears lost the SB last year… I would have died laughing thinking about Manning 0-5 against UF while at UT and then losing to a UF QB in the SB. Oh well, I guess that college curse stuff can only go so far.

Peyton Manning got his Superbowl Ring last year.

This, thankfully, has stopped the incessant “Peyton Manning is the Best Quarterback who never won a Super Bowl” talk from all the sports talking heads.

Now, since Peyton got his ring, he and the sports talking heads have no right to complain when Brady and the Patriots walk all over him this season.

I don’t think it works that way, G-Doug. Olberdouche has gone back and erased any record of a time when he could be considered other than a douche. If you were to go watch film of The Douche is his halcyon days at ESPN now — you would see only his doucheness, and no evidence of talent or intelligence would appear to you.

It’s weird that way.

Go Colts! I have been a Peyton Manning fan ever since he left the field at Commonwealth Stadium(after royally thumping my Kentucky Wildcats) on the last game of his Junior season with Tennessee. A newsie caught him and asked if he would enter the NFL draft. He told them that he went to Tennessee for an education and he would finish that before moving on. The man has CLASS and continues his first rate gentleman behavior to this very day.

Archie must just bust his buttons every time he witnesses his boys play.
