Limerick on October 22, 2007 at 8:46 PM

I got one better that. How about this ╬

TheSitRep on October 22, 2007 at 8:46 PM

A fat AK-47 with a scimitar/bayonet?

RedWinged Blackbird on October 22, 2007 at 8:47 PM

You drew this, right? Really funny stuff. I like how you hacked the CIA site too. Seriously, I’m still laughing.

Jens on October 22, 2007 at 8:50 PM

This is from “rathergood.com”. right?
Scrappleface?
The onion?

bbz123 on October 22, 2007 at 8:52 PM

Who ya gonna call?

Bob Owens on October 22, 2007 at 8:53 PM

Ok, did some guy on staff who had a some red and black paint do this as part of his regulalry salaried job or did they actually outsource this travesty?

bbz123 on October 22, 2007 at 8:53 PM

If there’s something strange…

In your neighborhood…

Who you gonna call???

KHOST-BUSTERS!!!

HarryBalzac on October 22, 2007 at 8:54 PM

When something strange in the neighborhood. Who do you call ?

TERRORIST BUSTERS !

Something weird and it dont look good. Who do you call ?

Terrorist busters !

William Amos on October 22, 2007 at 8:54 PM

LOL….I love the link to the CIA page……included…’The Kid Page’……taxpayer sweat at work.

Limerick on October 22, 2007 at 8:54 PM

Sheesh. The Black Ghosty is busted!!! Just in time for Halloween.

So who ya gonna call… CIA?

RD on October 22, 2007 at 8:55 PM

Go ahead and laugh now but wait until you find out how much it cost!

Dusty on October 22, 2007 at 8:55 PM

Darn HarryBalzac – didn’t mean to copy you, just saw yours!

RD on October 22, 2007 at 8:56 PM

Go ahead and laugh all you want. I have it on good authority that they tested this logo out down at gitmo and it got very strong fear reactions from the jihadis imprisoned there.
This is going to change everything!

redshirt on October 22, 2007 at 8:56 PM

Oooooohhhh! I bet the jihadis are quaking in their sandals now!

Troy Rasmussen on October 22, 2007 at 8:57 PM

There are simply no words for this.

Speechless.

Jaibones on October 22, 2007 at 8:57 PM

Ditto Bob & the crew!

RD on October 22, 2007 at 8:57 PM

We’re so doomed…

This is London 2012 logo bad…

elgeneralisimo on October 22, 2007 at 8:58 PM

[redshirt on October 22, 2007 at 8:56 PM]

LMAO

Dusty on October 22, 2007 at 8:58 PM

omg…This is part of what I do for a living, design logos.

If I ever came up with that thing, I’d be looking for a new job.

JetBoy on October 22, 2007 at 8:58 PM

Terrorist Buster is his name, kids! Buster the Terrorist! He wants to behead us because he doesn’t have a girlfriend. Poor Buster!!

Dork B. on October 22, 2007 at 8:59 PM

Why is the jihadi smirking?

He looks like a professional wrestler.

HarryBalzac on October 22, 2007 at 8:59 PM

They are recruiting them early these days.

Zorro on October 22, 2007 at 8:59 PM

{Troy Rasmussen on October 22, 2007 at 8:57 PM]

That brings to mind the pic at Jawa Report of the terrorist tough guy on the hilltop wearing a different shoe on each foot.

Dusty on October 22, 2007 at 9:00 PM

You would think that at the very least, they could have put two slahes through him. I mean, if you really mean business, how much does an extra slash cost? Maybe two slashes would be seen as insensitive to the muslim community.

jihadwatcher on October 22, 2007 at 9:02 PM

It looks like a Shrinky Dink from a gumball machine.

Dork B. on October 22, 2007 at 9:05 PM

What, the London 2012 logo committee wasn’t available?

amerpundit on October 22, 2007 at 9:06 PM

Rev. Sharpton or Rev. Jackson, which one goes after the logo first for it looking so racist?

abinitioadinfinitum on October 22, 2007 at 9:06 PM

Bigfoots Back! He’s Black! And He’s Strapped With a Gat!

Dork B. on October 22, 2007 at 9:07 PM

elgeneralisimo on October 22, 2007 at 8:58 PM

Sorry, didn’t see your comment.

amerpundit on October 22, 2007 at 9:07 PM

Or, perhaps the ACLU, because he does look like he is wearing a jihad suicide black ski mask.

abinitioadinfinitum on October 22, 2007 at 9:09 PM

Looks like a guy swinging a scimitar and they slapped an AK-47 over it to be PC.

pedestrian on October 22, 2007 at 9:10 PM

I literally laughed out loud when I saw that. Not because it’s so bad, but because I thought it was genuinely funny.

But I find it a little hard to believe that was their intent.

logis on October 22, 2007 at 9:12 PM

Ninjas.

The REAL threat.

sulla on October 22, 2007 at 9:15 PM

I might get it tattooed on my bicep, it’s so intimidating.

redshirt on October 22, 2007 at 9:16 PM

No, wait, that’s not it.

“Get the Gimp.”

sulla on October 22, 2007 at 9:16 PM

Well, at least we know that they’re not spending the coin on nerdy graphic artists or 14 year old photoshoppers. Looks like some operative’s kid made that in MS Paint.

robblefarian on October 22, 2007 at 9:21 PM

Methinks I just found my new avatar for my board! WOOHOO!

robblefarian on October 22, 2007 at 9:24 PM

Is Alexander Haig still in charge?

Kini on October 22, 2007 at 9:28 PM

Yeah! Ban all rifle-wielding luchadores!

Insomniac on October 22, 2007 at 9:34 PM

The terrorist in the image looks more like Batman than an Imam.

Those people are very confused.

MB4 on October 22, 2007 at 9:48 PM

Yeah! Ban all rifle-wielding luchadores!

Insomniac on October 22, 2007 at 9:34 PM

Bingo. This looks more like a subtle jab at armed illegal mexican wrestlers from the fashion police than anything else.

Will this replace CIA writ large on the back of their jackets now?

TexasDan on October 22, 2007 at 10:00 PM

What did the smiley face wearing a turbine with the bullet hole in the forehead lose out to this????

Mojack420 on October 22, 2007 at 10:26 PM

Obviously they didn’t have the right buzzword-compliant consultants make sure they reintermediate distributed markets, utilize visionary communities, target intuitive infrastructures, repurpose efficient experiences . . .

The Monster on October 22, 2007 at 10:27 PM

This should be it.

- The Cat

MirCat on October 22, 2007 at 11:12 PM

I want my damned tax money back, first.

And, second:

Where they hell is this supposed to be posted?

Waziristan?

Don’t we know terrorists are illegal already?

It’s as if they’re conflating it with smoking.

Or making a wrong turn.

Fire whoever approved of this insultingly-infantile money-squandering drivel!

I’m writing my representatives about this folly.

Here’s the only logo the CIA needs to post:

*~@):~{>

If it looks like this, shoot it.

profitsbeard on October 22, 2007 at 11:23 PM

So the CIA thinks terrorists look like Gingerbread Men? I’m surprised it doesn’t have any sprinkles on it.

thedecider on October 22, 2007 at 11:36 PM

The terrorist in the image looks more like Batman than an Imam.

Those people are very confused.

MB4 on October 22, 2007 at 9:48 PM

Plus……..he’s black.

RACIAL PROFILING!

infidel4life on October 22, 2007 at 11:51 PM

No wonder we’re not taken seriously. The CIA should be disbanded, and not just because of a stupid logo.

mram on October 22, 2007 at 11:53 PM

Luckily Jack Bauer doesn’t work for the CIA or we would be seeing that on the back of his vest all season.

BDavis on October 23, 2007 at 12:01 AM

I hope it comes with that song that gets stuck in your head….

Who ya gonna call…Ghost Jihadi Busters

HarryStar on October 23, 2007 at 12:05 AM

Ditch the AK and it’s Zombie-Busters!

I feel safer already.

infidel4life on October 23, 2007 at 12:19 AM

Well, I give up. I have just applied for my government-issued tire-tread sandals and poppy-field pajama.

RushBaby on October 23, 2007 at 1:20 AM

I spent 30+ years of my life in graphic design, 14 of those in my own business. Logo design was my specialty. I was damn good!

This is the most pitiful, juvenile, imbecilic excuse for professional logo design I have ever seen!!!

/seething

leepro on October 23, 2007 at 2:16 AM

I thought this was from the Onion, seriously.

Alden Pyle on October 23, 2007 at 7:40 AM

So, the CIA is experimenting with LSD again?

Black Adam on October 23, 2007 at 7:41 AM

Will Obama wear this on his lapel during CIA week at the senate?

Black Adam on October 23, 2007 at 7:44 AM

What fourth grader drew this? That’s quite possibly the worst logo I’ve ever seen. Wow.

Death to Bigfoot Ninjas!

CP on October 23, 2007 at 9:16 AM

I got one better that. How about this ╬

TheSitRep on October 22, 2007 at 8:46 PM

I like yours better. I want to see if fly about the crater that was called Mecca someday.

Tim Burton on October 23, 2007 at 10:19 AM

The only way this logo could be improved is if they had a little comic book word bubble coming from his mouth. In it would just say “Grrrrrrrrr.”

Zetterson on October 23, 2007 at 10:35 AM

I’m not sure which is worse: this cartoonish piece of garbage, or the fact that commenters are suggesting a Christian cross as a replacement (as well as the desecration of Muslim holy sites). Please tell me that’s a self-deprecating parody, and not your real opinion.

Mark Jaquith on October 23, 2007 at 11:44 AM

I didn’t realise the war on terror was against Chewbacca. That said, I laughed my ass off. At least the CIA has a sense of humor.

Darth Executor on October 23, 2007 at 12:26 PM

I’d rather see something more provocative like Spook blowing up terrorist with JDAM or something.

Captain America on October 23, 2007 at 5:25 PM
