Has there ever been a team that didn’t win a game all season? I would hate the Rams to be the first.

No worries. Tampa Bay did it in the 70’s.

Kowboy on October 21, 2007 at 7:12 PM

Yep, but that was when the NFL still had a 14-game season. Teams have gone 1-15 since then, but no one has ever gone 0-16. If anyone's going to do it this year it's probably the Rams, but I just can't believe they're this bad.

Bears, losers of 5 straight to Eagles.
Andy Reid, 8 - 0 against NFC North at home.
Bears ball at their own 3 yard line, down 4, haven't set foot in the end zone all day, 1:56 left, no timeouts, and the QB's head set isn't working.

Poor Eagles never had a chance.

Houston is beating Houston… GO Oilers:)
OVERTIME ROCKS!!!

christophercube on October 21, 2007 at 3:21 PM

Like I said to a friend, I got a 2 out of 3 today, unfortunatley my 1 and 3 were playing each other today!

I understand the Houston beating Houston thing! But ya gotta see that the Texans are challengers in the making. I'm sad the defense let us down in the last minute but the offense under Sage (mostly) did great!

Gooooooooooooooo TEXANS!

This year's dark horse spotting the league 2 games to start will take it all the way with defense of years ago.

I hope the Pats go unbeaten so those aging Dolphins (Nick Buniconti and I think Larry Csonka) from the 1972 team can stop with their childish breaking out the champagne when the last unbeaten team finally loses.

Blacklake on October 21, 2007 at 7:34 PM

They didn't allow a score in the 2nd half. Quite a turnaround from last week. When your D is on the field for as long as they were last week, bad things are inevitable. The O has to do their part and this week they did.

I've been a Boys fan for longer than I care to remember. Last week hurt, but they always seem to have one blowout against them almost every year. Let's hope that was it for 2007.

Yup. Pathetic.

Ok, "pathetic" might be catastrphozing a bit. But still, not a great Dallas show against the run, especially considering they had to know what was coming. If not for the blocked kick, this would've been an absolute nail-biter. And I'm a Cowboys fan! (Not that it's easy to be especially interested at all in this NFL season in light of the endlessly boring Patriots dominance--when the result of the Superbowl is predictable so far in advance, unless somebody puts Brady in the hospital, it's hard to get involved.)

The Dallas D was pretty thoroughly broken last week, wasn’t it? Or have they been incompetent against the run all season, but simply untested until now? Either way, pathetic.

Blacklake on October 21, 2007 at 6:23 PM

Last 6 ViQueens possessions:

4 punts

1 blocked FG returned for a TD

1 fumble turned into 3 points.

Yup. Pathetic.

Meh, unfortunately it's another losing week in my weekly pick-em pool! I'm staying in the top 5 overall for the season but I can't seem to win the weekly pots, yet my girlfriend won last week, won a week last year, is in the running again this week, and I'm still win-less!

Of course I asked her what her strategy for picking teams was, she said and I quote "whose uniform or city I like best..."

I just had to ask...oh the agony...oh the shame!
