Well, this exercise in stupidity isn’t going to revive the NY Times. In fact, as you note, Bryan, it outs the Times as the far-left tool they really are.

Things will NOT get better for the Times until Sulzberger is ousted, and Kellor, et. al., are fired.

Some of the comments on SCHIP are interesting.

Damn that Bush. Doesn’t he realize that we need the government to take care of our every need. Insure me. Feed me. House me. Make me leave a city below sea level when a Cat-4 Huricane is bearing down on me. I am totally helpless and need the government to run my life.

Nice post Bryan,
I was going to suggest that we all go and set the facts straight over there, but then I thought that I would not want to give them traffic, since they do not deserve it.

Then I read the comments here and realized that the NYT would (as some of you have suggested) delete any comment that are not inline with their ~~news~~ propaganda.

I personally do not think even the Moveon crowd could embarrass the NYT, but I know deep down that comment was made in jest.

9:07 am Like many other conservative readers, I get the NY Times for its generally good coverage of the news, except of course for the news that you’d prefer to ignore, like most of what General Sanchez had to say about the mainstream media. We don’t read your editorials, not because we don’t believe in exposing ourselves to opinions with which we disagree, but because your opinions are totally predictable,and there is no need to read them. Are you starting this blog because so many people simply skip your editorials? Well, they’ll skip this blog too as soon as they see what it is.

I read in their FAQ section yesterday, that they generally won’t be accepting comments critical of the Times. Those, they say, can be emailed into the paper.
