I’d love it if the sponsors for any earmarks had to have their ears literally tagged with the name and nature of their supplemental funding requests. Murtha and some others would wind up looking like Las Vegas showgirls.

There should be a monument to this guy since he has become an allegorical figure of all that is wrong with race relations and legislation in this country. It can be placed in Central Park near W84th St and male dogs can use it as a relief station.
