Nah, I’m pretty sure Colbert always wears panties ;)

However, he finishes the applications by signing Mitt Giuliani and Hillary Clintobama.

But assuming he is serious, what would Mr. Colbert have to do to get on the Democratic ballot in the South Carolina primary, which is expected to be held on Jan. 26?

“Well, there’s two ways,’’ Mr. Werner said. “The first is you pay a $2,500 filing fee. And if you can’t afford to do the $2,500, you can gather 3,000 signatures.’’

However dismissive Mr. Dawson may be about Mr. Colbert’s plans, he said that he did not believe the Republicans could stop him from seeking both Republican and Democratic delegates.

1)Okay, so Republican filing fees are honestly $32,500 more expensive?

2) So, what do the election laws state? Hypothetically speaking, if Colbert runs only in South Carolina and he manages to win both parties or even one, what is his next step if he decides he’s serious? Or replace Colbert with anybody deciding to run. What would be the next step for somebody in that position? Is it just too late? I know South Carolina isn’t at the very top of the primaries.

If I’m not mistaken that doesn’t apply to cable, only to broadcast radio and television.

Does Colbert know this stunt he’s pulling has been, well, done before…ad nauseum?

Anywho, what was I saying? Oh, yeah. These little unfunny “men” that the libs trot out seem to disprove all of the Brown Shirt insults they hurl toward the right. If that were true in any sense, these twinkies would be afraid to appear in public.

Well, Colbert for sure. Stewart’s humor is one style and one style only: the one-line jab or put down. His whole audience waits for it on the edge of their seats for 30 minutes. Otherwise he’s got nothing.

GEORGE: “What made you decide on that name, Gracie?”

GRACIE: “Well, my daddy’s a Democrat, and my mother’s a Republican, and when I was born I was a surprise!”

GEORGE: “So was the Panic of 1907.”

REPORTER: “What do you think of the Neutrality Bill?”

GRACIE: “Well, if we owe it, let’s pay it!”

REPORTER: “Miss Allen, all the other candidates are talking about how to bring back prosperity. What are your thoughts?”

GEORGE: “She doesn’t even know what prosperity is!”

GRACIE: “I do too! Prosperity is when business is good enough so that you can buy the things on credit that you can’t afford anyway, and that’s where you can save up enough money to pay cash for new things after they’ve taken back the things you’ve got on credit, eyuhhhh.”
