The best game plan for Nansy Polesi(most powerful woman in the Universe–according to Nancy)is of course for a continuing of chaos in Basra.

So while the United States military is winning it,
the DNC will be spinning it,so more time will tell

RightWinged – I just read the update on the Pelosi thread in top picks about troops and equipment moving through Turkey. My stick buddy in primary was on a boat waiting to move through Turkey in 2003, when Turkey said F’ Off and turned them around. We should be happy they’re helping out to the extent that they are right now. Allies come with a lot of compromise in that part of the world…

Yes, we are lucky… which I say again, is why these POS Democrats reveal themselves for being the truly evil pepole they are by trying to piss Turkey off here. They’re trying to cause problems in Iraq because all of this positive news isn’t good for their election chances. They are running almost entirely on chaos in Iraq. If things improve greatly, they’ve got nothing to run on.

I just switched over from Monday Night Football and saw that Glenn Beck devoted the first 10 minutes of his show to the House Resolution bill on the Armenian genocide and its Republican sponsor. Beck was his usual self during the interview, but the intro was quite good I thought.

That’s exactly my point BadgerHawk… it’s political move, because these evil SOB Democrats want chaos and death in Iraq, because it’s the only way to guarantee them election victories. Let us not forget that the House Whip himself stupidly admitted that it would be a “big problem” if positive news started coming out of Iraq.

No one is downplaying the Armenian thing… but why now Nancy? Why are you pushing so hard when Turkey’s on the verge of cutting off our usage of their land and threatening to invade Iraq themselves? Evil.

And she can’t claim ignorance on the problems this would create with Turkey. Their refusal to ackowledge the Armenian genocide has been a sticking point with the EU for years now, to the point that Turkey has decided it’s better to be out of the EU than admit what happened.

This seems like a political move more than anything else, no? I studied genocide quite a bit in school, and I would say the Armenian case certainly qualifies, but why do it now? It’s like the Democrats want to piss off an ally and cause trouble in the only peaceful part of Iraq (and the northern part of Iraq is amazingly peaceful right now).

Meanwhile, as I predicted, the Democrats can’t let this stand. They pray and hope for American and civilian deaths (in addition to high oil prices, and downturns in the economy, etc.) every day, because that’s all they have to run on. They are running on, as they’ve done the last few elections, the policy of “win by default”. Hope the other guys (the GOP) look bad enough, and be the only other option for voters.

Dems have been playing to this since a few months in to the war. And now Nancy Pelosi is insistent on pissing off Turkey, who’s on the verge of taking their own military action in Iraq while taking issue with the whole “genocide vote”, and considering not allowing us to use their land to move in and out of Iraq. Are these the Democrats you want in charge of our foreign policy? The party that wants to make sure the chaos doesn’t slowdown in Iraq in order to help them win elections, so they’ll do anything they can to… Man, this is one of those days, I’m like “why do I bother?”

Good interview, from all three involved. It does sound insane, given all the previous times things have begun to improve in Iraq only to quickly devolve again, but this time it looks like it may be for real.
