Basic rule: if it was under 3 minutes and was a Top 40 hit for CSN(and/orY): Graham wrote it (”Marakesh Express,” “Our House,” “Teach Your Children,” “Just A Song Before I Go,” and – ahem – “Wasted On The Way”). If it had meandering or non-existent lyrics: Crosby wrote it. If it was over 6 minutes, had gorgeous harmonies and bitchin’ acoustic guitar licks and may or may not have been about a boat: Stills wrote it. If it had a 7-minute 1-note guitar solo and caterwauling lead vocals: Neil wrote it.
