Here’s the schedule. Marquee games include Houston at Jacksonville, Washington at Green Bay and New England at Dallas (both come into the week 5-0). There’s also a battle of the bottom feeders when Philly goes north to take on the Jets.

I got to watch the Packer game, and I’m watching Sunday Night Football tonight. Plus there was the 12 hours of college football yesterday, so I didn’t have much ground to argue on.

BadgerHawk on October 14, 2007 at 6:58 PM

I guess everyone can’t be as lucky as me. My wife is a bigger football fanatic than me.

conservnut on October 14, 2007 at 7:00 PM

I’d keep the girlfriend and get a second TV! :P

synycalwon on October 14, 2007 at 7:01 PM

OK, mad at them again.

These zebras suck!!!!!!!!!!!

conservnut on October 14, 2007 at 7:05 PM

As long as we throwing out choices, keep the TV and get a second girlfriend.

abinitioadinfinitum on October 14, 2007 at 7:05 PM

She’s more into college basketball. I have to make sure she isn’t holding anything during Badger games, lest our only TV be destroyed by a bad call.

BadgerHawk on October 14, 2007 at 7:06 PM

ouch.

BadgerHawk on October 14, 2007 at 7:11 PM

Limerick,

21-17……….Kerry’s boys are getting nervous!

Make that 38-24. Does Tom Brady strike you as being a liberal? Belichick? Ever hear them whining? No. And they succeed on their own efforts not by begging or stomping their feet.

See? They’re conservative.

Pablo on October 14, 2007 at 7:12 PM

Double Damn ouch

conservnut on October 14, 2007 at 7:13 PM

OK, ain’t over yet girls

conservnut on October 14, 2007 at 7:13 PM

Pablo on October 14, 2007 at 7:12 PM

Who’s fans are more conservative huh?

conservnut on October 14, 2007 at 7:15 PM

Bad call, kicking a field goal????

conservnut on October 14, 2007 at 7:17 PM

Hmmm, tricky. Playing it safe. Still an 11 point spread (two scores). Much depends on the Pats next possession!

synycalwon on October 14, 2007 at 7:19 PM

You’re right, lots of time left

conservnut on October 14, 2007 at 7:20 PM

I take that back, you can’t afford to play it safe against these guys, if you are going to give Brady the ball back, it better be after 7.

conservnut on October 14, 2007 at 7:26 PM

Ooooh, almost game over!

synycalwon on October 14, 2007 at 7:27 PM

I don’t think that was a push off, but it’s about time a bad call went our way.

conservnut on October 14, 2007 at 7:28 PM

Condolences from Massachusetts ;)

fluffy on October 14, 2007 at 7:33 PM

Game over. Using six minutes on that drive just did em in! Not counting the field goal.

synycalwon on October 14, 2007 at 7:33 PM

41-27, less than 4 minutes left. That’s about it, ‘boys.

Pleasure doing business with you.

Pablo on October 14, 2007 at 7:34 PM

And Seau’s pick seals the deal.

Pablo on October 14, 2007 at 7:35 PM

Romo picked off! Yup, game over! The ‘boys put up a hell of a fight! Kudos!

synycalwon on October 14, 2007 at 7:36 PM

Say OWWWW Boys fans

Blitz on October 14, 2007 at 7:36 PM

Let me say…..ya whopped us! Plain, pure and simple.
Hat tip to the Pats. That last Dallas field goal doomed it.

Limerick on October 14, 2007 at 7:37 PM

Say-ow! Time to start thinking of a Seahawk victory!!! Sorry Cowboy fans. Can’t win ‘em all. Well, New England might…

Ordinary1 on October 14, 2007 at 7:39 PM

Limerick at 7:37 PM

We’ll make it up to you by beating the Giants in week 17.

fluffy on October 14, 2007 at 7:40 PM

I really think we should go for a TD here….just to make a statement

Blitz on October 14, 2007 at 7:41 PM

Prediction: Pats vs. Colts AFC title game. (I know way out on a limb here) I’ll take the Colts! But, Brady breaks Mannings touchdown record.

synycalwon on October 14, 2007 at 7:43 PM

I really think we should go for a TD here….just to make a statement

It would be nice to get back on that winning by 20 streak.

Pablo on October 14, 2007 at 7:44 PM

And we’re in!

Pablo on October 14, 2007 at 7:44 PM

I knew New England was going to be tough, but I really thought Dallas would play them better than they did. Of course, no one beats themselves quite like my Boys do. ::grin::

Oh well, the Redskins lost. The day was a complete loss.

Sue on October 14, 2007 at 7:45 PM

Kyle Eckel just got his name in the news.

Tony Romo to take a knee?

fluffy on October 14, 2007 at 7:45 PM

Oops, I meant the day **wasn’t** a complete loss.

Sue on October 14, 2007 at 7:46 PM

48-27!!!! Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay!

kiakjones on October 14, 2007 at 7:46 PM

I’d like to think so,but Romo is a gunslinger

Blitz on October 14, 2007 at 7:47 PM

OK, eating that big black bird now.

Good win Pats fans.

conservnut on October 14, 2007 at 7:47 PM

Although Brady will break Mannings touchdown record, Colts repeat as SB champs! /prediction

NFC just doesn’t match up.

synycalwon on October 14, 2007 at 7:48 PM

well there ya go….basing my thought on the schedule, I think there will still be 2 unbeaten teams in 3 weeks….and then one…any takers?

Blitz on October 14, 2007 at 7:48 PM

Surprise … Cowboys blow it.

Ian on October 14, 2007 at 7:49 PM

the Boys didn’t blow it. Thy were beaten soundly by a better team

Blitz on October 14, 2007 at 7:49 PM

The Pats are just a better team, and they whooped us.

I felt worse about last weeks win against the bills.

conservnut on October 14, 2007 at 7:50 PM

What a spanking!

Wade on October 14, 2007 at 7:51 PM

Olbertime? on Bob Costa’s show WTF? We can’t watch TV without seeing these left wing anti- American losers!!!

abinitioadinfinitum on October 14, 2007 at 8:13 PM

abinitioadinfinitum on October 14, 2007 at 8:13 PM

I can not imagine the the hell is the thinking of having that turd on a sports show again.

Wade on October 14, 2007 at 8:16 PM

Wade on October 14, 2007 at 8:16 PM

They are like a plague, the anti Americans are.

abinitioadinfinitum on October 14, 2007 at 8:19 PM

I’m a faithful Pats fan and a fantasy football owner. It pains me starting Tony Romo. I both cheered and winced with the two TDs he threw. I got my 18 points out of him and my Pats still beat the Boys.

Mooseman on October 14, 2007 at 8:25 PM

My, are those Plowboys overrated.

JammieWearingFool on October 14, 2007 at 8:32 PM

My, are those Plowboys overrated.

JammieWearingFool on October 14, 2007 at 8:32 PM

Hey. We did have a brief lead for a little bit. :P

Oh yeah, nothing like another touchdown at the end (4th and goal) with 15 seconds left just to rub it in for good measure.

FireFly on October 14, 2007 at 8:49 PM

My Cowboys have left me disheartened and disillusioned. I’m still moving back. Thank the Lord it’s only football. And, I like turtles.

mimi1220 on October 14, 2007 at 8:54 PM

Romo,Romo, where art thou oh Romo?? To think Dallas was gonna spank the Pats , surely you jest.

IDIOT SIGHTING: I work with an individual who plugged her power strip back into itself, and for the sake of her own life, couldn’t understand why her system would not turn on. A deputy with the Dallas County Sheriff’s office, no less.

Sorry, I just had to point this out before my head exploded with the bloviating before the Pats WON # 6 by stomping on Dallas

bones47 on October 14, 2007 at 8:58 PM

Bones, It was an accident. The Pats had cameras. Didn’t you see them??? GEE…

mimi1220 on October 14, 2007 at 9:02 PM

Heh! Watching Da Saints try to redeem themselves. Gotta say they are doing a good job so far.
But to be honest, I am a jonesin’ for some red meaty news.

PS – LSU: “See this gun I have? Watch me shoot myself in the foot!”

lsutiger on October 14, 2007 at 9:08 PM

My Seahawks look sorry tonight. Hope this turns around soon.

Cowboys played pretty well there in the middle. Pats are just a better team. Cowboys had the added disadvantage of a short week to prepare. Would not be surprised to see an undefeated New England team beat the Cowboys in a very entertaining Super Bowl!

Meanwhile, while I was typoing… Touchdown Seahawks! Finally!

Ordinary1 on October 14, 2007 at 9:37 PM

yeah, pats 19-0.
da best team evah!
Brady just needed a Moss type player, I guess Welker too.
Looking forward to the indy match-up in a few weeks, but the pats have had their troubles with Miami at Miami in the past. I expect Belichick to adequately prepare his….er… the team for the next important game to an undefeated season.

rslancer14 on October 14, 2007 at 10:12 PM

Oh that was ugly. The Seahawks looked pathetic. The Saints were running the Hawks offense better than the Hawks were. Based on that game, I don’t see how the Saints were 0-4. The Hawk’s defense can’t get off the field and they have no running game. Shaun Alexander is becoming an anchor to the offense. The “bend and break” defense is not very effective. I’ll have to watch my DVR to see how bad it looked on TV.

The bright spot is that Seattle is in the NFC west. The Rams are done. The 49ers are about done. The Cardinals are having QB problems. The Seahawks may make the playoffs with an 8-8 record. Leading the division with a 3-3 record. They will have to think from this point forward that it is a 10 game season and start from there.

Yuck.

Mallard T. Drake on October 15, 2007 at 1:02 AM

Nice try Boys.
Way to go Pats!
How sweet it is!
Shut down the Cowboys and shut up the Cowboy fans.

miketheman on October 15, 2007 at 1:23 AM

Mike,

Having lived in Texas, there is nothing on God’s green earth that will shut up a cowboys fan

Sorry Guy

But its the thought that counts

EricPWJohnson on October 15, 2007 at 1:35 AM

Yuck.

Mallard T. Drake on October 15, 2007 at 1:02 AM

Yep. Something needs to happen soon, or it’s out in the first round of the playoffs. Sad but true.

Ordinary1 on October 15, 2007 at 8:54 AM

Shut down the Cowboys and shut up the Cowboy fans.

miketheman on October 15, 2007 at 1:23 AM

We may eat a little crow from time to time, but we will never shut up.

Unfotunatly, no matter how good we get, you stupid-a$$ Cowboy haters will never shut up.

Kinda like Libs……….

conservnut on October 15, 2007 at 9:43 AM

packsoldier on October 14, 2007 at 6:13 PM

Good for them. Don’t worry, they’ll come back to form. Anyone that can lose to the Bears at home is due for a breakdown.
