After watching her enact that strange ritual with the wrench, the vice, and the cell phone, I’d be wary to be in the same state as her. She might pick up a table, a chair, an automobile, or a wrench, and proceed to bludgeon you to death with it, like she damaged a perfectly good telephone for no good reason that I know of. I actually thought for a moment that she was demonstrating how durable the telephone was, but the phone fell apart eventually, so that rules that idea out.

Just had to tell you, your comment made me laugh.

I was thinking the exact same thing during the entire ordeal. “Has she never head of a hammer?”

In fact, the sadistic part was that we were sadistically tortured by watching a skinny, virtually curveless female (or was she/he?) beat a cell phone with the wrong instruments, and with a weak, uncoordinated, sloppy swing “like a girl” or worse! My three year old daughter could probably strike that cell phone 10 times harder, and she would have enough intelligence, and wisdom, to 1) Use a hammer, and, perhaps more importantly, 2) Know not to waste her time damaging a cell phone, but she would use it to communicate with others.

Ouch!

Also, this video clip might actually support the theory-philosophy-religion-world view of Darwinism-evolutionism, in that Darwinists-evolutionists have actually believed that blacks, and other dark skinned people, being closer to apes than more evovled humans were not as evolved on the evolutionary scale as white Caucasians, and that women were also not as evolved on the evolutionary scale as men.

Darwinists-evolutionists might want to use that video clip in their propaganda sessions.

The woman in the clip reminded me of a gorilla, a chimp, or even an orangutan, busying herself with senseless, unproductive activity. Doesn’t she know how to use a telephone?

Hint: It is not to beat it with a wrench, and there are sounds that emanate from it.

To the person in the clip wasting her time, and ours, beating on the cell phone, put some clothes on girl, and get something to eat! You look like you haven’t eaten or exercised in years!

Now, if only I could have those two minutes or so of my life back!

LMAO…yep, then she went postal and destroyed it when she found out she couldn’t change the battery herself and had to send it in and pay almost $100 to get a new one!

Hmmmm….maybe MM sent this video to AP after receiving his 100th purchase request for an iPhone…

As a safety professional I too was glad to see she was wearing eye protection, but as usual a woman using the wrong tool for the job! Just goes to prove the old addage (the one I just made up) that the only time a women should have a tool in her hand is if she’s posing in a calendar or in bed!

I’m seeing a sort of grassroots activism: cell phone induced myopia preventing the next customer from noticing the waving and ready teller? No problem, a group member, with badge and all, comes to the rescue and relieves her of the phone, promptly hurling it to the ground to be mashed under boot. All cheer!

So the iPhone isn’t the end-all be-all of of “Smartphones” but damn if isn’t a really nice combo of iPod/net device and also a phone.
