OMG!!! They used the MoveOn logo!!! C&D letter on the way in 4…3…2…
The funniest thing about this? How easy it is to parody the thuggish clowns at MoveOn. If they didn’t have such a pile of money, even the Democrats would recognize what a joke they are.

How many MSM hacks are out there?
jdawg on October 12, 2007 at 12:36 PM
That was pretty funny!
Spirit of 1776 on October 12, 2007 at 12:38 PM
It was like watching SNL, only much funnier.
stonemeister on October 12, 2007 at 12:43 PM
Tepid satire.
‘C’ for effort.
Recommendations: Steal Dennis Miller’s old material. Oh, and retain a

Was the fact that it was so unfunny why it was so funny?
nukemhill on October 12, 2007 at 12:48 PM

Paging tommylotto, paging tommylotto….

I guess it’s just supposed to show how easy it is to make the braindead zombies in Maher’s audience respond.
Some of the rallies put on by the local antiwar nuts feature a “comedian.” I imagine this is sort of how it went.

As political satire goes, it ain’t exactly The Ministry of Silly Walks, now is it?

I hate that people even give Bill Maher airtime, he is such a sad, angry troll, and he is even to small to aspire to be a troll.
americaslaststand on October 12, 2007 at 1:02 PM
“MSM hack” is redundant!
drjohn on October 12, 2007 at 1:59 PM
Yeah, this only had two really good jokes (which meant the segment ran a little too long) but there is definite potential with NewsBusted.
Anyone here thinks they can do better should e-mail rightstuffcomedy@yahoo.com
If they use your joke, you get $50

I think so. That’s the amusement I got out of it.

Gah! When are they gonna get rid of that damn laugh track and intro. The tragedy is that the material is actually very funny – but the laugh track makes it look dumb as hell. They had the same problem with the half hour news hour.
They need to either produce the show in front of a conservative audience (like the Daily Show uses liberals) or they need to run it dry.
The problem with the fact that it’s a conservative comedy show is only that libs dominate hollywood and only produce liberal comedy shows. This creates the perception that conservatives aren’t funny, and when you have a laugh track that’s as awful as that it only reinforces that perception.

Unfunny.

When do I laugh?
Kini on October 12, 2007 at 3:24 PM
Fairly humorous but the fake laughter in the background is pretty lame IMO.

“War, is NOT the answer!!!!!”
csdeven on October 12, 2007 at 4:56 PM
Visiting troll libs will wonder if it’s 4real???
Mojave Mark on October 12, 2007 at 6:46 PM
It was not laugh out loud funny, but it had some fleetingly clever moments. War in not the answer was pretty good.

I thought it was a pretty good satire of how some on the left inject their ideology into inappropriate issues.
Seriously, lefties, if you’re out there, every single tragedy that befalls the world is not the fault of Dubya or the war. Grow up.
R. Waher on October 13, 2007 at 10:50 AM
Ehh, it took a few good pokes at the moonbats, but mostly just so-so.
And please, let the left continue to call it “Bush’s war”. Let them aim every last drop of their venom at him, let them campaign against a man leaving office.
