Video: James Oddo’s favorite Norwegian speaks

Sort of. It’s three and a half minutes long: the first half is what I suspect is a punking by the Fox & Friends crew and the second half is an interview so devoid of substantive content, I have to believe she’s punking them back. Here’s the clip with the German minister to which she refers, bad audio sync and all. And here’s her website. She’s got a Hasselbeckian vibe, doesn’t she? But with a fondness for leopard print.

Blowback

No Norwegian Wood jokes, Allah?

Your desire for an Iphone has made you…soft…my friend.

Get the f#$% off my HotAir screen!

Tony737 on October 11, 2007 at 9:11 AM

Lovely.

Zorro on October 11, 2007 at 9:15 AM

My new Norwegian Hero! The best we could come up with was a “B-list actor” (Punk’d) and, reaching back a few years, Stuttering John sent out by Howard Stern. Even Borat make funny better.
Pia is sweeta.

Doug on October 11, 2007 at 9:30 AM

AP, are you falling for yet another high-maintenance blonde?

Anton on October 11, 2007 at 9:31 AM

Here’s an idea, Pia: Don’t try misleading an American council man, claiming to be a reporter. Also don’t ask questions like if it’s legal for Obama to run because he’s black.

amerpundit on October 11, 2007 at 9:38 AM

Careful, AP. You know what they say about blondes with big noses, right?

petefrt on October 11, 2007 at 9:41 AM

In the Oddo vid I saw her as a young Teri Garr type. Pretty and more interested in comedy than looking hot, but unable to disguise what nature has provided.

Here, I don’t know. I don’t see Hasselbeck, though.

Kilmeade seemed perfectly happy to arrange for a place to stay for the young lady, which was very generous of him, I thought.

Jaibones on October 11, 2007 at 9:48 AM

Nice comment on contemporary society when you can pretend to be a reporter and ask racially offensive questions about presidential candidates and then call it humor.

This kind of Borat humor is unimaginative and juvenile. It is the comic equivalent of a Michael Moore film.

An ocean divides you.

Hoodlumman on October 11, 2007 at 9:52 AM

Oh, to be a leopard. Meget hyggelig.

Jaibones on October 11, 2007 at 9:59 AM

Ohhhhh… those zany Norwegians !!!!!

Always Right on October 11, 2007 at 10:08 AM

And here’s her website.

“PIA HARALDSEN — ENTER”
I think she’s punking all of us.

infidel4life on October 11, 2007 at 10:12 AM

Are you being naughty?

Jaibones on October 11, 2007 at 10:20 AM

A bit like the female version of Borat.

But she’s toooo attractive for the part .

Texyank on October 11, 2007 at 10:30 AM

At least she isn’t danish. ;P

I don’t find this type of humor funny in any language although it seems to be the latest trend. Pity.

yggdrasil on October 11, 2007 at 10:33 AM

Danish wouldn’t be so bad, would it?

Jaibones on October 11, 2007 at 10:39 AM

I would take it with a smile.

I would take it on the tile

I would take it on the couch

I would take it in a crouch

Etc.

She’s hot, as Paris would say. And I bet she would love to come the USA. Except somehow I think she’d go straight to LA this time, dreaming of a red carpet. She’s in the 15 minutes of fame phase now. A good pirated sex tape, and voila–a career is lauched. Then rehab, and the “lifestyle” of being famous for being famous, or is it the other way around? Pardon my cynicism. But despite my cynicism–she’s hot.

But with a fondness for leopard print.

I have a fondness for that too.

On her that is.

Not me.

That would just be creepy….. or would it?

*ponders about some leopard print clothing, maybe some sexy undies*

Hrmmmm,

Yup, still creepy.

:D

Yakko77 on October 11, 2007 at 11:19 AM

Its to early for watching this stupid stuff , yes she is a hottie i give ya that but F&F is becoming unwatchable.

Mojack420 on October 11, 2007 at 11:21 AM

Ali G. much Pia?

max1 on October 11, 2007 at 12:47 PM

Gawd. Horny losers with no life outside of their parents’ basement, fantasizing about hot foreign twits with no aspirations higher than punking respectable people.

You deserve each other.

Splashman on October 11, 2007 at 1:25 PM

Danish would have been better, Jaibones. I wasn’t clear, I know. I meant at least we here in Denmark don’t have to claim her nor be embarrassed by her stupid antics. :)

LOL, Splashman, thanks for saying that.

yggdrasil on October 11, 2007 at 1:36 PM

Fox should make Pia Heraldsen one of its European newsbabes. Put her on along with Laurie Dhue, Juliet Huddy, Megan Kelly and CNN’s ratings will fall further into the toilet than they are already are. Maybe CNN can counterbalance Fox’s newsbabes with the return of Aaron Brown!

Larraby on October 11, 2007 at 2:12 PM

i was hoping it would be the puking girl.

jummy on October 11, 2007 at 5:38 PM

Jaibones on October 11, 2007 at 9:48 AM

Kilmeade is hilarious. He’s always deliberately sneaking in subtle innuendos and awkward comments, etc. It’s too bad his schedule doesn’t lend itself to allowing him to be on Red Eye more often. (Gutfeld was on at the end of Fox & Friends by the way)

Funny little highlight reel (but they missed a ton) put together to attack Kilmeade by some NewsHounds clowns, but I just find it funny

Same goes for this clip (I don’t want to spoil the surprise… Scroll and click on “Alisyn’s Tush”, and watch a Kilmeade clip that will go down in history)
